    Perfect video! Thank you.
I checked TH-cam before buying my first iron and this was the first and only video that I watched. Got everything I needed🙏🏻

Thank you for clarifying some things for me! I’ve watched a gazillion you tube videos about irons and was completely confused, but I have a better idea of what I need now.👍💕

What about descaling? Which one do you think is easier to descale and maintain so as to be longer lasting?

For irons, it's generally recommended to use a mixture of equal parts white vinegar and water for descaling. Both steam and traditional irons can benefit from this method. Just fill the water reservoir with the mixture, let it sit for about an hour, then run the iron on a steam setting over a cloth to flush out any mineral deposits. Regular descaling helps maintain the iron's efficiency and longevity. Remember to check your iron's manual for specific descaling instructions tailored to your model. Hope this helps 💜

Question: How much does each iron featured weigh? I am looking for one that is light to handle.

I'm sorry for the delay in answering! They are not very heavy! I hope you found one that's right for you 💜

Thank you so much!! I’m going for a new iron and thought I might like the higher end one but I don’t think I need it now. I really like your shirt and the contrasting sleeves, can you share the pattern or is it an original creation?

I'm so glad it was helpful! Thanks for tuning in. The top is my Rivington t-shirt pattern with a puffed sleeve hack. I actually did a video showing the easy sleeve hack here: th-cam.com/video/i5nAGEpe32c/w-d-xo.html

I've noticed that most recommended irons for sewing are NOT cordless. Are cordless irons not suitable for sewing?

I think they're totally suitable! It's probably that they're a bit harder to find, so the ones with cords get all the attention :-)
