I have the series 9 steelbook recently got it signed by Jenna Coleman, can’t believe how rare it is compared to the others and how much it goes for it’s crazy
I've only got one. The 50th Anniversary one. I had to have that. Was thinking of getting the 60th Anniversary one but it seemed too bare bones on special features, compared with the 50th.
On the series 3 steelbook the problem wasn’t Jacobi it was that they had John Simms master from the end of time on the back and fans hated the continuity error so they had to put him in his series 3 appearance
The way you say cex unnerves me. Needless to say though. A fun video and a lovely collection indeed! I’m very envious for I’ve only the Cushing films and the series 13 specials (soon to be the 60th specials also!)
Hi, I think it was exclusive to Amazon therefore didn’t have a big run. They sold out very quickly and now they are sold on eBay for something like £500
You’ll be surprised. A lot of the animated steelbooks appear on eBay almost at retail price. Then again I’m sure the new series will be upgraded to 4K before too long.
I have 2 of the series 5 steelbook chonkers, the first I got at CEX for cheap, super rusted and dented but it had 69 in the number so I got it. Second one I got on eBay and it was practically mint condition for a little bit more than the other one I got and is one in the 28,000's, so yea, not exactly super limited 😂 love series 5 so I'm glad I've got a beautiful steelbook, and a not so beautiful one

The classic ones are fairly easy to get second hand, but the new who episodes are not worth the hundreds of pounds that people are asking for.

I came to the steel books far too late. I have series 6-8 and series 10, 12, flux and Jodie specials. But other are just too expensive now 🤷♂️

Nice collection! I don't think there are any steelbooks that are playable in North America so I have to stick with the basic blu rays haha
There’s exceptions but most of them are region 2. You could always get a region free blu ray player.
I’m late to this but the revival series steelbooks are region free and play anywhere, not sure about other ones though since I don’t have them
