Thank you Morgan. Not only is this a beautiful piece, I have just realised how good the music you composed for your intro and outro make me feel. Looking at your work has been bringing a smile to my face and joy to my heart for a while now but your music has been growing on me and now when I hear it I get a little tingle down the back of my neck because I know for ten minutes or so I can let go of my cares and lose myself watching a master create delight. Joel.
Hello Morgan! Say, that is a great looking piece, and I like the way the wood accents each other. You have once again raised the bar on great looking work. John
Hi Morgan I love the compilation of wood and the colours it is nice, the grain is nice as well. The vase is magnificent and unique with the floating ring. I really love your work, you always put your heartband soul into every piece you turn. Amanda xx
Very good piece, the grain of the wood really stands out in the finished item. I thought it was going to be a Grecian urn at the start, which reminded me of a childhood joke about "How much does a Grecian urn (earn), about 10 Drachma a day", silly joke I know. Back to the art, the woods definitely compliment each other while still having contrast. The captive ring is a nice touch. As you said simple, but very effective result, thank you Morgan. Take care, regards to all 👍
Hello The pagan Thank you😊 yes indeed the fact of having crossed the pieces of wood offers interesting reflections👍moreover these two species combine very well for this type of piece and (it could very well also have been a Greek urn😉)
Nicely done. You didnt show how you finished the inside of the ring. Have any tips? I always have a bit of a ragged separation which is not easy to sand. Thanks.

yes indeed there is a part that is difficult to access, it must already be almost perfect when turning with the gouge
That is the fanciest skittle I've ever seen ❤😉😅
