that box is a winner. the light and knife are amazing. the wallet feels like a bonus throw in at that point. the fact the light can be a power bank is a nice additional benefit.

I got the green X3 in my box. Looks better imo but does not glow in the dark. As you say, it's a great example of something cool I would not have discovered without the subscription.
This one was killer. Wasn't stoked about the wallet, but the flashlight (glows in the dark, btw) is amazing and the knife is near perfect. Mine came a little gritty so I oiled it up and now it's dolphin smooth. I thought the Micarta looked green, too, but getting it wet and oiled through use, it is black. Kinda disappointed with that, but of all the things that's the most nothing-burger thing that ever thinged.
I'm a fan of videos when you go into detail of the items and try them out

Thanks for the content. One more thing...the light also has wireless charging - you can put it on a dock and it will charge, so if you dont have the charging station it comes with, you still can charge it.

i'm right with you doc. the wallet is not for me, but i'm extremely happy with the light and the knife. i was pleasantly surprised by both. when i first read the descriptions i was kinda underwhelmed but they both turned out to be awesome.
I wish you would do a review of the Milwaukee duct knife!
I signed up for going gear Oct 2nd so I missed this month, bummed I missed out on the knife and light. Definitely don't need to see any more minimalist wallets

I had something similar to the wallet and almost got arrested entering a courthouse with it. I do not recommend trying to go through a TSA checkpoint with it.
I hate those wallets! Feels like you have a brick in your pocket when you sit down. Lol I love me a good leather wallet.
Most of the time you would be carrying in your front pocket. I have a metal minimalist wallet and that's where I keep mine.
The light and knife is the only things I liked in this box. Them card wallets suck in my opinion. I has tried a few different kinds and none of them worked for me.
