- This is an easy DIY MazdaSpeed 3 inner tie rod replacement with a step by step basis. I used the budget friendly version of the inner tie rod tool and it worked well with the MazdaSpeed 3 inner tie rod replacement. The inner tie rods may wear faster in the MazdaSpeed 3 due to the heavier nature of the front end of the car.

Just tried to see if my tie rod was faulty, removed the tire and then got stuck removing the first screw because of rust. 😢
Nice intro Colton! 💯 Love that sound.
Thanks ya brother ✌
My 08 mazda was clunking like hell when i got it. Put in brand new sway bay links. Nadda. So i took it to AAA see if they could figure it out and sure enough it was a front strut bolt loose..... smh something so small could effect the whole drive.
It's such an annoying sound too...
I'm jealous.. want a 1st Gen MS3 really bad.. the garage too. Apartment life!
Feels
Pretty sure you need both front lower control arms + sway bar links
Done it, ended up being the sway bar bushings.
I got a 08’ speed rn, I’ll be using your content to help me with it 😂 thanks a ton
Got more on the way! 🎥
Wait, did you get rid of the Miata??? I hope you didn't. Cause I really liked that Miata.

RockAuto

Zip tie mate
@@ColtonRichter aight i got some laying around thanks man
Did the tie rods make a difference in handling feel?
If they're blown they will
Clunck sound could be sway bar bushings
It was!
Gen Juan's sounds cheap when they start lol
You have the same car just more Ford 😭
@@ColtonRichter starter doesn't sound like a Toyota tercel doeeeeeeee
Speed content. I'm content
me too man... me too
If your issue still persists. It’s most likely the front sway bar bushings. Test it by dis connecting the bar from the end links, pull the end links out and go over some bumps and see if it makes noise still
It ended up being the sway bar bushings haha
@@ColtonRichter yep I had to do it on my last car. Pain in the butt. I’m currently collecting parts for a complete suspension overhaul on my speed3 now. Anti lift, poly bushings everywhere, coilovers, white line sway bars and endlinks.
I’m assuming if ur still makes the noise it’s not the issue?
