if you made reels that were on the catch smart system and designed it with ergonomics and performance in mind (like googan rods) and had gold and green tiers that would be freakin awesome.
This video is a perfect representation of what my experience with the dart has been. I rigged it exactly like LFG did, but it was just dumb luck because I really had no idea how it was meant to be fished. The Dart is my second favorite bait in the Googan lineup, right behind the Saucy Swimmer.
Well I used 7"in today on both z-man chatterbait as well as on the Googan clickbait fished for 3hrs & not a single bite on either set up, I even used spike it marker on em and still nothing.. but I did enjoy getting use to using my bait caster reel seeing that I never used one.. I waiting on 5'in darts to come I plan to try the same trailer on chatter bait. And I'm fishing clear water.. hell I used bandito bug & the rattl'n chunks as well today & totally got skunked...
Quick question. You said you used a 20# fluorocarbon line but showed an 8# spool in the video. Did you mean to say 20# or did they use the wrong picture?
Great video. Just subscribed to your channel. Love these new baits. Would they make them in smaller sizes in the future. I fish places where the fish love smaller baits. Perhaps a 4 inch or 3,5 inch baits would be awesome
I will say outta all Googan baits the dart is the best it’s actually really durable I’ve literally been fishing the same one for literally two yrs on a mustard grip pin hook I can’t even tell ya how many I have caught on it

I had the 7in dart give to me as a stocking stuffer for Christmas. Would a 4/0 hammer hook be big enough
What's funny to me is he's using the go to rather than the twitch rod I'd use the twitch bc it has more bend and it will compensate for lighter line
Does this bait get line twist like traditional zoom super flukes? Also, do you have to rig it PERFECTLY straight in order for it to work properly...?

Sounds like wireless mic had a low battery. Always have ears on while recording, always have spare batteries for mic and receiver packs.
