I live in rochester new york and went to a local BBQ rib joint walked in and there was chris arp seating people. Got to rap to him for a couple of minutes in between customers really cool guy. I couldn't believe he had to work a regular job with his amount of talent. It just goes to show that real talent is not appreciated only cookie cutter bullshit fed to the masses by money hungry corporations who are only interested in the next fast buck. THIS GUY OWNS EVERYBODY ON GUITAR. nuff said
If Christ Arp would form a band with Scott Plummer from Viraemia, they'd form a black hole in which the whole world would implode to... and that's why it'd be SO EPIC that they'd be in the same band. But it's never gonna happen... D:
from blabbermouth: "PSYOPUS has tapped bassist Brent Glover (BELLICIST, ex-RECIPROCAL) as the temporary replacement for Michael Horn, who reportedly quit the band in January."
So I looked up "The Top 10 Hardest Guitar Solos Of All Time" for shits and gigs. Through The Fire And The Flames was number one. I never tried playing that song because it is one of the lamest songs ever written. I never tried playing Insects because I don't feel like dedicating a year of my life to learn 30 seconds of a song.
@whatfuckingever444 I understand. I think that my ears were tired, I guess:)) I think that the two guitars in the original track made it seem a bit lower
actually figuring this song out would be very difficult and i dont think very many non professional guitarists would even have a chance of playing it without it being sloppy as hell
my god!
thats amazing
arp if you can hear me, please tab this song out on guitar pro
hahaha visiting my old favorite band and see you xD
Rob Scallon Psyopus cover when
I'd love to see that cover

That's fucking wild
I love how there are literally no videos of people covering this song. Arp is a GOD
Chris is thinking: "Did I pay that bill last month or is it due next week? Ah, whatever." @1:07

Brent Glover is a beast though, check out his solo stuff
1:10 wtf he's not even looking at the neck omg
classical music theory psychoticism at it's best. all while noisefucking your eardrums. only the best survive until the end of this song.
sounds like John Coltrain, actually playing this on top of Jupiter is fucking schizo!
I saw them live with this drummer and then with a different drummer. It sounded like two entirely different bands.
One thing is sure: there's no one capable of making a guitar cover of this and then post it on youtube!

Pure unrelenting chaos!

Fuck there's so many thumbs down comments on here. Everyone thumbs up me!

Arp looks ALOT like Fredrik Thordendal. My guess is they came down from the same space ship.
The same could be say for anything Avante Garde or discordant...

BTBAM shirt. They just one
Who's playing bass in this video? That's not Michael Horn

got drugs?
No, the word is childish. Only kids who grew up idolizing "guitar gods" actually think original techniques = good music.
lol, you really think their music is about what techniques they use? That's so childish.
That singer is just aweful
@MisuAlexandru1 nah, dude.
