I was googling the rules of Joy Heyball knowing that it's different from the American standard 8-ball but I can't find any. I know that it's played on a 9-foot table with pockets that are as small as that of snooker tables, that hitting the balls hard and strong will likely result to a missed shot, and that basic rules also apply. But I am baffled by the re-rack when none is potted as requested by the breaker or by the opponent, and also why a rack is scored for whoever. Can somebody explain?
Saw that 14th rack, looks like there is a rule that if the breaker doesn't have 4 or 5 balls not passing back the headstring (potted ball included), loses the rack..that is to discourage soft breaks. In standard 8-ball it is just a foul if that rule applies. That is my evaluation and stands corrected if there's an authoritative evidence.
I don't understand the rules, why did Alex lose frame 14 after breaking off and potting one ball? Also why does the opponent get to choose to break again if his opponent doesn't pot a ball from the break?
Alex Pagulayan represents Canada although he is originally from the Philippines. With his pool ability , he is a credit to both countries.

Obviously, even PH Pool Master has no answers 😂

@@arriostomanalo9523 you are almost right. It's a 4 point rule similar to 3 point rule in 9 ball.
That's the nature of the game, it's not 9 ball, don't expect fast games
Why did alex lose the 14 frame?

4 point rule. If the break does not satisfy that, illegal break. 3 illegal breaks in a row is loss of rack.
@@IndianHeathen1982 whats the 4 point rule??
Similar to the 3 point rule in 9ball break. TH-cam is not allowing me to paste a link. So you can Google that. But here is one extra point.
The rules do seem to be needlessly complicated! Thanks for letting us know about the 4 point rule and illegal breaks.
@@kabukidreamboy there are reasons... people were soft breaking. And soft breaking in heyball leads to forever racks...
裁判也太正了吧
Blurry and jerky even in 1080 hd
They're both good, but so boring to watch.
Who can watch this boring shit for 3 hours xD
