At first I was like “ok, this is really good but I think I prefer the previous one” but the last half of the track kicked so much ass that I changed my mind, this version feels almost like an inverse of big shot in a way I’m a HUGE fan of.
@@t0nyxaka90 it’s structure itself mimics big shot in a lot of ways, if you listen to them side by side the intervals and transitions between leitmotif’s and melodies are pretty damn similar, that as well as the overall feel of the track are simultaneously similar and completely different. This theme sounds complicated but ordered and controlled, which mimics the character of tenna, conveying aggression and confidence as well as said control by combining the fast paced, bouncy yet slightly sinister jazz with the more consistent ordered rhythm of the techno beeps and boops that stay more in the background, the more techno parts represent the background and world that tenna controls, and the jazz is more tenna‘s theme himself. Big shot feels like this but more sinister, not confident and instead more desperate. The techno and jazz elements are less seamless and more abrupt and surprising, representing spamtons sporadic and uncontrolled nature. It almost seems like big shot is trying to be this track but it’s different due to spamtons corruption. It makes sense too since they both seem to be of a similar type of darkner that rose to power in different ways, with spamtons being more dramatic and sudden and tennas being more paced and sensible.
Rating every Vision Crew song because of a certain Undertraveler: 9.5/10, and I thought no one could possibly make a fanmade deltarune song just as good as Attack Of The Killer Queen.... I WAS WRONG. Multiple iterations of Screen Burn, finally forming such a kick-ass final boss song! The first half is already AMAZING, especially with that Asgore part, and that's enough for me to consider it a phenomenal track! But the SECOND half, that's the definition of banger right there! It truly feels like a final, climactic showdown, a battle to never forget!
Wasn't too sure about this one at first, but that smooth ass asgore transition is REALLY clean, and kind of wraps this whole track up in a bow for me. Good work!
my honest opinion: better than any screen burn, 13/10 song i love it so much. i cant put my finger on why exactly i didnt like screen burn... it just feels like static shock's instruments feel more "solid"??? and i also like the melodies here more
Rating every Vision Crew song, because i have a different opinion apparently: 8/10 Well... I like V2 more! I already stated it somewhere, but I don't like the fact this version is less energetic and epic. Don't Get me wrong! It's still good, just not as good as V2 In My Opinion!
@@DenRays also this comment feels like one of those people that think they know more about the characters than the creator themselves ngl V2 wasn't perfect and it didn't fit the battle at all also V2 was poorly mixed

I love the tonal shift at 1:48, it transitions from "let's put on a game show!" to "I'm going to murder you on live television"
you described it in the best way possible, that's exactly how i feel too!

Rating every canon Vision Crew song: 8/10 New Tenna boss theme? Did not expect that, but damn that Asgore part though

1:04 Asgore motif goes hard 🔥 🔥
1:01 This part is very very familiar but I can't put my fingers in it...
asgore?
Yes
I'm just waiting for someone to get THAT joke

If he heard that part I'm sure that Kanye west would should like it
i like tenna he is fat and purple

It's been renamed to "Static Shock" now so you should probably change it along with the link

Too bad they removed the camellia part, but nonetheless
This is a Massive Improvement
I didn't even know Camelia was in the original song, I thought it was Spamton.
OH MY GOD NEW SCREEN BURN

This is cool but it feels less intense and less dynamic, the heartache piano is also off key, it sounds terrible
V2 was already perfect, they changed it because it somehow does not fit in the Tenna battle for some reason.
@@DenRays I get the change of tone but this is a downgrade in several ways.

also V2 was poorly mixed
@@scarlet-embers this isn't an argument, the original is 7 months old man. Do you not hear the off key piano in the background at 1:10?
