Take the decision according to your needs instead of going by the hypes. If you need some pocket friendly adventurous overlander vehicle then Jimny is the king. People need to understand that many middle class families have a lifetime dream of buying a car with a maximum budget of 5-6 lacs so that they can travel together safely from rain, heat and cold. They have to run their family expenses after paying the car's EMI. So maruti is for them. Cheaper cars, cheap spare parts, wide service network, smooth engine Clutch & gear (ECG)!!

With this view Maruti is still considered to be first choice for first time buyers

    1. As the market leader, Maruti Suzuki really should make stronger and safer cars while setting benchmarks. Shame. The last 15 years has seen people buy millions of tin shells. Swift. Baleno. Dzire. WagonR. Alto. When will MSIL improve?!
2.90% of India has been driving unsafe cars for almost four decades in a country where RTA fatalities every year is at 1.5 lakh people. FOUR decades.
    3. The sheer disregard for traffic rules is also at an all time high. Especially in North India. It's unbelievable.

As an ex dzire and current creata owner, i gotta say. Maruti really needs to do better.
i get it that why they make lighter cars as they want mileage but man the minimum should be 3 stars and no less than that.
It was okayish back in 2000s-2010s but its 2023 for godsake.
It is okayto have thinner body panels but make your structural frames stronger(which matters most in accindent).
These are unacceptable results, and just saying that they don't take validation from ncap and only follow government safety rules is criminal.
