In my communications class, we were told to pick our favorite famous person. When I picked Keanu Reeves, everyone in the class agreed with me.
Meeting the late Gilbert Gottfried is the best thing to happen to me. Back in 2018, I got to meet him when I was in my local Papa Johns one time and I tried my best to not yell out. But then he did his classic voice and I could not hold the laughter. I ended up getting a picture with him and he told me to NEVER make a joke about the Aristocrats as a joke. I went to his funeral when he passed. Top Ten nicest people I’ve ever met

Justin Cook known for voicing Yusuke Urameshi, Raditz, Super Buu
Was one of the nicest guys I've met, he noticed me cosplaying as Yusuke from a distance and pointed me out, when I reached him to get an autograph and photo, it wasn't your standard photo autograph 2 minute convo and leave, he taked to me for a solid 10 minutes, with a line still waiting, took a photo, got an autograph, and then takes my phone shoots a video for me for when I ever feel down and appreciated me for loving Yu Yu Hakusho
That’s awesome man always hold on to that moment.

Todd Haberkorn is cool. At a local convention he was here with Lucy's voice actress from Fairy Tail, the line was so long that it looked like some people wouldn't even have a chance to see him, but even long past the one hour window he made sure that every single person in his line got to see him an additional hour and a half. Yeah he's paid to be there, but this wasn't a big convention this was a smaller con that he didn't have to care about. Not to say he'd have been a dick for cutting it off at the time limit as some actors do, but it was a kind gesture that I won't soon forget, and I've seen him 3 times at conventions. Kyle Hebert the voice of Kiba, and Fatgum also frequently has the shortest lines at conventions but I go nearly every year and he's always so sweet, and since his lines are often short he'll actually have like tiny micro conversations with you. Phil Lamar, and Kerry Petyon (Static Shock and Cyborg respectively) are also pretty cool.

The unique thing is Ozzy Osbourne, at 74 years, has been shown to be a pretty nice guy, and even has grandchildren that listens to his music and sings to it

When hearing about Steve Buscemi going back to the old firehouse he used to work at after 9/11 happened to volunteer to hopefully find survivors out of the rubble, I absolutely was in tears. If you aren't crying after hearing about that, I doubt you are human. I always loved him in movies like Armageddon, the Big Lebowski etc.) I love him even more after hearing about this. What a beautiful human being.
No joke, Adam Sandler is in my freshman year book from high school. I only got one because we were moving over the summer but I was so glad we did. One of my fellow drama club members went on a trip to LA and happened to run into him. She asked for a pic and he was more than happy to. Ended up in the drama club section of the year book, especially because the girl in question ended up being the club president. lol
The only celebrity I met was Nicolas Cage and he is an absolutely laid back guy in comparison to his characters.

Apparently from what I heard, Myers intentionally made production miserable on the Cat in the Hat movie all because he wanted out of Universal's contract after he canceled production for a Sprockets movie (based on his skits on SNL) and this was his way of getting out of Universal for good.
As much as I love Myers, its no reason just because you want to escape a big film company (especially nowadays its best to stay *FAR* away from Hollywood) you have to make everyone else feel miserable WITH you.
My mom was a second responder at 9/11, and thus she met Steve Buscemi during that time if I recall. I don't know much about what happened, but hey, it was cool he came back to help.
The closest I’ve come to meeting a celebrity was Lester Holt of NBC Nightly News. It was actually back in spring 2013 when he was still with the Today Show. I didn’t get to talk to him really, but I got to shake his hand, and just from doing that I could tell he was a nice man.
Tbh I’d do the same thing as Jerry. He follows rules everyone else does, don’t do thing with strangers, yet he gets ostracized for it. He didn’t even tell her to piss off, he just declined a hug.

It's one of those things where it wouldn't be a big deal basically at all if there weren't tons of other experiences with Seinfeld that were red flags or overblown on his part. I understand his refusal too, it just doesn't look great when it is alongside everything else (and he also didn't say no thanks or sorry when he declined it, and he only explained it away after the situation when she wasn't around).
One thing about him though, he's a celebrity, and it's usually nice to meet and hug your personal heros
@@cheeseking2825 Even so, most people's "personal heroes" are just normal humans at the end of the day, a lot of them don't want their personal space invaded just like everyone else. One quick example would be Howie Mandel, who is very germophobic and doesn't even like handshakes. Just because someone is extremely famous doesn't mean they automatically owe everyone pictures/hugs/autographs/etc.
I hate when everyone says, "well they're famous celebrities, that's what they signed up for!" Like no, they literally did not "sign up" for shit. To people who have this type of mentality, how about you go up to 100 random people on the street and ask them for a hug and photo, see how many agree.
That's why you and your group is Awesome, Nate. If I ever go down to Tennessee and meet you or anyone of the Renegades out and about, just know that a fan of your reactions is a hugger.
I remember this one super fondly, but a couple days after my birthday this year, I was at Lvl Up at Las Vegas, and as i was leaving the baggage area, i was actually approached by Richard Horvitz himself! He wanted to talk to me because he saw my cosplay (I was Glumshanks, if you know you know) and he and I were talking for a solid 15 minutes before he went off to go do a autograph signing! He is one of the nicest, funniest people I have ever met, and later on, I actually bought a Figure for him to sign and asked him to sign it!
The whole situation with Kesha is understandable since it's weird to just come up to a complete stranger without introducing yourself or anything,especially if you don't know wether or not said person is a germaphobe (which Jerry is btw). Also because you know never who's a threat.
One of my childhood friends was an extra on the set of the movie "Snow Day" (which was filmed here in Edmonton, Alberta, Canada) and I remember him telling me about how much of an ass Chevy Chase was. I have a relative who used to work in Hollywood and he could totally back up that claim.
Honestly I can kinda see why Chevy would be a nightmare on that set in particular. It was during his rapid post-80’s decline in popularity, he seems to have gotten meaner and meaner ever since he became less famous, so I’m betting much like with Community, he felt the work was beneath him when it really wasn’t
A celebrity I interacted with who was super chill was Dylan Sprouse (Zack from the Suite Life shows). He and I just talked about pokemon and Scott Pilgrim Vs The World a bunch, he is such a super chill and salt of the earth guy.

Speaking of nice celebrities, Garzi, a famous hip-hop or rather “rock-hop” singer was just walking around the crowd and the merch booth after his show. He didn’t turn down a single photo, a single hug, he was genuinely the nicest person i’ve ever met. When I had asked for a photo, he even went out of his way to put his arm around my shoulder and pull me into the shot. He even accepted the bracelet i gave him and didnt take it off even after everyone left! In terms of kindness, i’d say he’s like a mini shaq!

The members of the band Starship was nice.

Jerry Springer came to one of my high school football games. My mom (who was paralyzed due to cancer) was approached by him and he sat and talked with her. He then met the cheerleaders, and came over to the band and talked with us. He was so nice. Flip side Ben Roethlisberger was egotistical and rude. Friend worked at dairy queen and they were closed when he and his group showed up demanding they open and wait on him. About how don't they know who he is and he will have them shut down for good and how worthless they are.
My dad’s still petty about Alice Cooper not coming to see us outside near the trailer like Nita Strauss did after a concert in our city in October of 2018 a day before my birthday that year. I got a pic of Nita and I of course, but I understand what it’s like being a performer since I’ve been in marching band for all of high school and college, so about 7 or so years. He was tired, plain and simple. He wasn’t “being mean to us” as my dad claimed.

The worst thing I remember involving Ellen is how she treated younger Taylor swift. I don't like Taylor, especially her fanbase don't get me wrong, but the shit Ellen pulled was when in 2013, she proceeded to be extremely disrespectful towards Taylor by ringing a bell to imply that the woman was hooking up with a bunch of actors who were line their 40's and 50's. Taylor made it clear that she was uncomfortable, because the men were the same age as her father, but Ellen continued ringing the bell even when begged to stop.
I'm surprised Johnny Knoxville wasn't on the list. I've read many stories where he is just an absolute a$$hole in real life. The reason his acting career ended so fast wasn't because he couldn't act (he couldn't btw) but because he was a horrible person to work with. One person on the movie crew said "he was the most demanding person you could ever meet and acted like he was the most talented actor who ever lived. No you are best known for having a portapotty dumped on you" and then went on to say he always acted like he was still on Jackass by pulling pranks which everyone on set got tired of real fast.
