The simulation on proteus was successful. The operation of the traffic sequence does not tally with that of my country. In the circuit sequence, red is 20S, then yellow 10S then Green 10S. When green ends, it switches directly to red.
I wish to modify the software so that it becomes Red 38S, then Green 10S, yellow 2S then Red again. The yellow light goes from G->Y->R and R->G directly without passing thru Yellow.
Is that possible to do? BTW, what's the purpose of R6 and R7 in the program?
yes, u can modify the code it's posible.
R6 AND R7 is for counting perpose. i'll upload a new video and expalain all the lines.

Hi, I have completed modifying the codes to display what I wanted. I created 2 tables, one for the 4 timers and one for when the RYG LED should be lighted.
The new subroutines replaced the 4 DJNZ for the timers and the 4 patterns how the LED should be lighted. I let it run for almost 4 days on proteus and still working fine. Now I am starting to make the PCB and constructing the model road surface on softboard. At first I was thinking of using a LEGO board but then I would need 5 large boards and that was too expansive. I also bought traffic lights from Banggood ....

it is 10k ohm pullup register, beacuse 8051 port 0 dont have inbuilt pullup so we have to connect it externally in order to use it general purpose i/o port
is it possible to use mplab x ide as a compiler for this pic?
if mplab x ide support 8051microcontroller then only u can use, but i thimk mplab is a pic compiler..

Nice job but my 7seg - MPX2-CA-BLUE is not reading and only three came on with fixed numbers (10,2, 20) and the Traffic lights are not on.

It's a pull up resistor, if u don't use then u can't get the output logic(means 0v or 5v)

Check the type in diagram either it is common anode or common cathod 7 seg

front traffic light is not executing properly it has the delay of 30 sec and at last 10sec it is changing to yellow

Can u please help by saying what is the use of respack here?
8051 PORT 0 does't have internal pullup resistor so we provide it externally using respack( 10k 8 resistance pack)
If u dont connect respack then PORT 0 will be neutral and u cant get any logic to control any device thats why we use respack for port 0 only, port 1,2 and 3 have inbuilt pullup in 8051 and 8052 mcs
