Shagrath is an amazing creator and very nice person too. DBs album "Stormblåst" (the first version) is one of my favorite albums, great composer. Together with others in band of course. it`s allways a big thing to me to be to live concert of Dimmu Borgir.....
Dimmu Borger is from Norway. They have been around since 1993. Definitely started as black metal and have added more symphonic elements over time. Not really my cup of tea, musically or thematically, but they are very good at what they do.
Try the songs "indoctrination" or "the maelstrom mephisto" from 2001. It's the album that took them into the public eye and to me anyway it's their best album.

I can appreciate the performance, the musicianship and the choir but black/death metal isnt my cup of tea.
