Thank you sooooo much for a brilliant informative and humorous video, this has saved me endless heartache and cash as I would have binned the lot. I am not an engineer as you are nor do I possess the patience that you do so I will be following you from now on to save myself from going mad and a lot of cash. Danke sehr
That's unnormal that's these crashbar are so poorly designed for their expensive price. Thanks for your video, i'll looking for an another alternative.
Hello loving your video and humour very interested I'm following you and also starting to service my BMW f800 gt, do you have a plans to change the final belt drive replacement great work 😃 and keep up the great you tubing teaching us less mechanical minder persons.
Hi Martin, specialy for guys like you I am making these do it yourself videos. The GT is my daughter in law her bike, and I am sure in time that belt needs to be replaced too. Ofcourse I make a video about that too 😉. Please share my youtube channel with all your friends 👍🏍
I didn't think the way the rear portion of the bars are unsupported. I think if you drop it, they won't offer much protection. And although your rounding off the edge of that plate will help, I think that just normal engine vibrations will slowly cause chaffing. I know it would be unsightly, but I would take a piece of thin plastic and ziptie it to the hose.
Hi Ed, I do think that it will be protecting the bike when falling. Have you seen how thick the iron is ? But the way it fits is 'terrible'. Thanks again for your comment mate !
Old Mechanic....I love your programs. I have big question on these wunderlich bars. Did you have to remove the side fairings to install ? Did you have to cut, or alter the fairings ? Is it easy o reinstall the fairings after the bar install? Any others tips, or important notes? Thankyou Sir
Merci.
I have not owned my F800GT long but you have become my new best friend ❤
I used the T-Rex frame sliders which look better I think
🙏🏻 Thank you my new friend 👍🏻👊🏻😉

After watching this video. I decided NOT to fit the Wunderlich crash bar. It would not fit with a splash grill and the fitting looks terrible.
It not the most easyest to mount crash bar
I’ve got a fever, and the only thing that will cure it, is MORE LOCKTITE!
😂👍🏻
