I dont know who lets him cook... but keep letting him cook
That was cringe
@@javierguerrero7177not really tbh
@@Marsh-ct5ts bro liked his own comment
@@javierguerrero7177 nah i did
@@javierguerrero7177 You liked your own comment
Bro that cows diet being 10x more expensive then mine💀
At least you dont become the diet at the end XD
@@lifedeatherI mean technically you do, not to humans at least tho. (Usually, citation needed.)
@@lifedeatherlooks like we got a vegan in the comments here, do you know meat=longevity sir?
@@ThePiratePaddyhe's Indian maybe
@@ThePiratePaddy nah you become shit, because that's what all your food amounts to.
$20 per pound = $44.10 per kg
$70 per pound = $154.35 per kg
$65 per pound = $143.33 per kg
Here I am thinking super grade steak for $10 per kg is expensive
@@tawedzerwazhou9951 that’s a deal in my book. A couple kilos of good wagyu for less than $50
That's very very very expensive for cheap steak. Lol
Bros using dollars and kgs 😂 what’s the use
@@RP-wz4eu well, usd is the worldwide reserve currency, and kg is used practically everywhere on the face of the earth
Max, you should do a video on cooking rare meats and exotic like rabbit
rabbits a really common meat here in the uk
I knew that's what I was doing here in the US, raising meat rabbits
Rabbit is exotic?
rabbits are just sunday night dinner after a long day of hunting with your dad and uncle
i guess kangaroo or smth too
Max always finds a way to tell us metaphoricly that we're poor
As a college student cheap and wagyu A5 in the same sentence is just not computing😭
yeah, I'm not a student and I still don't get WTF he is talking about with "cheap wagyu". I make pretty good money and wouldn't think to spend money on a giant hunk of wagyu like that. Apparently tiktok/YT influencers are paid WAY too much.
@@bobf5360you’re both idiots. It’s a top round steak, the cheapest of all steak cuts. That’s what he means
Same. College student here. Even frankfurter are pricey in the country I'm in. Wagyu is out of the equation😂
@@bamojamo nobody argued that. Thanks for playing though. The point was on any income less than 7 figs, it just doesn't make sense to spend $200+ on a hunk o' meat for a single meal.
@@bobf5360Wagyu comes in different prices. Basically any steak coming out of Japan is Wagyu. So Wagyu can kinda be a misnomer as something can be advertised as Wagyu, but its not the legendary type of steak. I think i remember reading an article about it. Try looking it up it will have better info. I would link it byt yt doesn't like links.
Edi: he does mrntion it's A5, so it is up to speed. It's just a cheaper variant then. Hemce why cheaper Wagyu.
You should do a video sometime on some more diverse meats (lamb, rabbit, gator, etc.)!
i mean, he does i legit saw him cook gator before.
What is gator
@@splashbenine aligator
@@basedbastard5311 sounds weird, people actually eat alligators? What taste does that even have? Meaty or fishy?
@@splashbenine kinda similar to chicken.
I like the grinder flip with a flat face, “I do this every time I grab the pepper grinder”
I don't understand medium rare the stake comes out mooing on the plate
I shall continue to admire his spinning stunt
I almost choked on my popcorn when he said 70/lb
that is pretty cheap for A5 wagyu
Max, I'd totally have you over, just to show me how to cook some of the beef my family butchers every year. (Yes our cows are grass fed and healthy)
$65 per pound A5 top round that tastes like a $16 - $20 per pound ribeye sounds like a bad deal.
I love how he says “cheap” but it’s only 5$ cheaper 😂💀
its cheap for wagyu while the other is not wagyu
“Max the meat guy “ I’m honestly surprised that the vegan teacher hasn’t come after you already
Meat guy consume too much meat, other watch now they eat too much meat. Now meat expensive, me sad
I WAS THINKING THE SAME THING
Max, you should make a video testing different dry rubs. My favorite is the Notorious P.I.G.
You two are perfect for eachother, we are so proud of you Kris! :)
That’s actually an awesome bit of info for those of us that want to try a5 but don’t have 300 dollars to spend on a single ribeye
Try a4 I can’t taste the difference compared to a5
The crust max makes is awesome. Beautifully cooked
The way this man flips stuff in his hands amazes me.
Smooth moves with the salt shaker man, keep up the good work❤🎉❤🎉❤
I want to see the grinder spin move outtakes 😂
Still too expensive for me tho😭
Not as expensive as caviar though…
not as expensive as olive wagyu is
@@anthonymatute6057 could you imagine eating caviar at 65$ per lbs?
imagine eating caviar by the pound lmao
@@JackPorter I don’t think I could ever afford that though
@@anthonymatute6057 idk 65 dollars is around the price of a AAA game, but if i tried to eat a pound of caviar i would probably barf. Then again i've only ever had fish roe, because caviar is like 1500 per pound
Wagyu but in a parallel universe 😂
Max try cooking a steak with no seasoning and nothing like oil or butter in pan. Someone said it amazing
Thanks for the heart
The fats are completely difrent between the two pricey against low produce
Just because the breed is from Japan doesn't mean it can't be diluted to select quality. Want to be sure you are getting prime grade? Look into Akaushi and how many generations it is.
This man just casually makes Gordon level food. I love it 😂
FYI the “crazy expensive grass fed steak” is not solely grass fed.
I personally would try it well done
Idk how he knows everything about meat but I like it
I get wagyu like that locally farmed and pasture grazing for about $40 a pound for the ribeye
The grinder spin excites me everytime
Top round cooked like a steak is insane!
"You cannot best me at my worst!"
-A5 Wagyu to Normal Grassfed
You cut out the "hmm" with the bite!
In Ontario the last 2-3 years choice grade rib eye is $20+ a pound👍
Yeah in frying pan with butter. Yes...but in coal slow smoked cooked and not rare i doubt!!!! There wagyu don t express well..
I bought an A5 ribeye then I tried a cheaper sirloin ends… my conclusion is that American cross (black angus/wagyu 50/50) seems to provide the best balance and amazing steaks. If your gonna go import you should get a tougher cut cuz it really doesn’t matter much IMO.
I’d rather get the cheaper one because same kind of name but with more meat
Thank you!
Max: 65$/pound is cheap...
Me at the supermarket: 5$ A POUND. AH HECK NAH
Can you make a clay steak next plz
We're not gonna talk about that shaker spin
The best wagu steak i've ever had was from my neighbor. He had the best marbling i've ever saw. Needless to say, i fled town to avoid suspicion afterward. 👍
Idc about the strips, but that top round being marbled like that is news to me
I’ll just keep taking advantage of Brookshires occasional NY Strip,Porterhouse and Ribeye sales at $5.99/lb. I always have them cut me 30-40lbs of steaks at 2” thick.
The katana cleaver looks awesome
I just finished exam for biology and this is the first vid I watch, amazing
My dad loves watching your videos ❤ they give him the courage to cook after years of frozen meals 😂
Make a cookbook pls❤
I think the normal grass fed makes more sense all around. From price to taste, I’d figure grass fed normal makes more sense with less regret.
I have a amazing but terible idea a fried wague wellington made oit of a brisket
that grass feed still looks phenomenal to me! gotta try an A5 at some point tho
Don't cook them together and clean the pan after be cause it'll transfer the taste between the two
Grass fed still scrumptious tho
I will never understand why more ethical options like grass fed are more expensive when it’s honestly cheaper to produce in my experience
Corn fed tastes better than grass fed cattle ranchers have said so, and I agree.
I hope just once in my life i get to taste the top of shelf wagu.
My daughter works at speciality steak restaurant and they have all those graded steaks, she was telling me that the A5 wagu 200gm sirlion is $165, in my whole entire life (44yrs) i have "splurged" on myself something expensive and that was $200 for a pair of Nike Air shoes, if i cant bring myself to spend copious amounts of money on clothes or shoes etc etc then i really cant see myself ever allowing myself to spend $165 on a piece of meat, no matter how good it might be, in my eyes, i have 4 kids and there are just never-ending things i have to find money for, but if someone else brought it for me then.....HELL YES and no not my husband because ultimately it would be paid for from OUR money which means i still pay for it, nope nope nope.
For those luckily enough to live like this, i hope your grateful.
SoundWave Superior Wagyu a5 Inferior
The salt shaker spin was S Tier 🤌🏻🤌🏻
I never tried wagyu, except for frozen burgers that im sure were fake but still delicious. I absolutely hate the taste and texture of steak fat, but love the taste of the meat. That wagyu looks almost half fat, so my question is, can you taste the fat in the meat? Or does it really melt away?
Why do I always get these vids when I am hungry?
Grain finished beef will always be better than grass fed and that is a hill I will die on
Make a vid on cooking mutton next please😊
Is that a damascus steel sword?
Not a real authentic Damascus sword. Authentic Damascus is very rare and that sword is not it.
My old lady made chicken fried steak outta wagyu. They pound out bigger'n the plate but they shrink up after frying em. Cream gravy. Oh gawd...
Bro, Can you try Kadhai Chicken its such a great meal
Grass fed beef has a weird flavor preference grain fed
This channel keeps on making me hungry
yeah, me too, this channel and the weed...
Beautiful
Now do most expensive grass fed vs c5 wagyu
Tbh I don’t like meat at all but I still find his videos entertaining
Nice marbling
Whoever let bro cook…
*keep it up… please.*
The Wagyu’s marbling looks like the logo for a metal band
Content+consume=me happy
As a grass fed cow i can confirm that we're indeed very tasty 🐄
I can also confirm my fellow GFC
Oh my god you found a way to make top round edible? Someone get this man a nobel prize.
yeah just add fat
This is meat version of "no matter how good you are, there is that one asian kid who is just better"
jusg the look of beef or the smell of the raw version are so well
Now I’m hungry.
because GRASS FED beef is nasty!! I do not know what the hype is for something that is tough and gamey!
Wagyu = Extra Cholesterol😂😂😂
Makes sense, the cheapest version of the best thing possible
If this guy ever becomes a dad, the kids school lunches are insane
Mans puled out the katana to cut up some wagyu
I think if I hear the word wagyu one more time I might actually die
Tristan tates long lost brother 😂😂😂
Idk what the obsession is with grass fed. It's way too lean. It at least needs to be finished on grain.
now do A5 eye of round
Max cooking a top round😱😱😱
“ *im gonna stick to healthy foods for now after this.* “
Dudeeee I need to know what knife that is and where you get these
Bro that spin thooo
Bro really said strongest normal steak VS weakest wagyu
I prefer an A3 ribye to A5 because A5 is just too fatty for my taste.
No one competes with this guy😂
It's time to stop capping about Wagyu, it's this generations filet mignon
Do you do anything special or specific when you sharpen your knives ? Or do you get them professionally done?
I feel like I’d like the cheap wagyu more than the expensive stuff
