I always laugh, though, when they troll JK for saying 'original'. That was a totally appropriate word choice. 'Original owner' would have worked great. :)

Even though it may not be perfect, he can figure out how to communicate with the vocab he's got. You see it a lot earlier on in their foreign travel shows, especially if Namjoon's not around. The example I always use was at a jewelry store in Dubai. He couldn't remember the word for bracelet, so he said 'wrist necklace'. The clerk understood just fine :). It's actually a pretty solid skill, and requires a lot of mental flexibility - I admire Jin for it a lot.
Hobi actually expressed that part of why he wanted to study English is to take some of the pressure off of RM. It's a LOT, and to the guys' credit, they know it. They've really improved these days, and I have so much respect for that. Thanks for the reaction! 💜

Jin is taking advantage of his several years in Australia and is doing more English speaking, Hoseok is speaking a TON of English lately, as is Jungkook. Yoongi, I suspect, can speak much more English than he is currently (though he IS speaking more lately) but I think that is due to discomfort with it still. Jimin and Tae are trying more as well. I have a feeling, based on interviews recently, that Namjoon is "encouraging" them to speak more. He must be so tired of translating everything after all of these years. ETA: Color changing soup eventually resolved to hair dye because he didn't like Hoseok's hair color.

RM is amazing Leader!!! I always admire him despite of being such young person he is pretty mature. It is fascinating to see how he is leading his team. According to the last interview in English he said J hope, Suga and JK are taking English lessons. I am so excited. However, I will anyways embrace them whether they do speak English or not. These young men are role models not just for youngsters, they can be an example for adults as well.
