I know we all expect him to sing live, but the construction of this makes this a reeeeeally hard as a song to sing live, even if we were just standing still. There is no space within the phrasing to catch your breath and gather yourself to keep going -a bit similar to that Kid Laroi/Bieber number. They’ve deliberately layered and run the phrasing together, which world great for the pace and excitement on a studio recording, but is a nightmare to try to navigate in a live performance!
@@TheChampOfMedium He did a performance for GMA, which was a bit of a disappointment (not because of him) but because the official performance was cancelled for bad weather and they released the soundcheck, which he went all in on still. Then yesterday, he performed live on a UK evening show, which was much more confident. He also did a BBC radio 1 live lounge. You could hear him suffering on the performance of Seven but his cover of an old Oasis track was very smooth, and much more effective. You should check that out. X
