I was on this in June/July and it was one of the best cruises, I don’t think the food was better then RC but the entertainment was definitely good and my family is going again with more friends in march!
Looks like a great embarkation day. The Statue of Liberty looks tiny. They have a Jean Phillippe Patisserie on board! Used to go to his shop when it was at Bellagio, first home of the chocolate fountain.
Oh wow! I didn’t know about that chocolate shop! It was a nice touch having it onboard. We enjoyed several treats from there. The sailaway from NYC is one of my favorites!
@@CruisingforFood Yes, Payard was at Caesars, now Pronto by Giada, and Jean Phillippe was at Bellagio, now the Bellagio Patisserie. If you haven't figured it out, I love dessert/chocolate. LOL
I am going on this, feb 25-It meets my prime requirement. I can take an uber from house to port. I somehow stumbled into a yacht club interior for $2690, so i will see how that goes. I was on wonder of seas last week, that was nice.
Absolutely loved your video. Thank you for sharing this I’ve never been on a cruise and I wonder if it was a seven day cruise or a three day cruise? How much is it and do you feel the ship moving?
Thank you for watching! This was a 7 night cruise. The cost will depend on the cruiseline, the ship, the length of the cruise, and destination. MSC and Carnival are reasonably priced. You can get a 7 night cruise for less than $2000 double occupancy. The ship will rock in rough seas so if you’re worried about getting sick, you can get a patch or take something like Bonine or Dramamine. I find it soothing, especially when going to sleep. I highly recommend giving cruising a try! It’s our favorite way to vacation. 😊
We were pleasantly surprised how much we enjoyed it. While there are certainly nuances to their style of cruising, we just didn’t let them interfere with our overall experience. The ship was beautiful and the crew was great. We didn’t feel the bad outweighed the good. We would definitely cruise them again. Happy New Year!🎊
Everyone has different expectations, I guess. No cruise line is perfect. No cruise is perfect. There’s always something that won’t be to your liking or that can be improved. I try to go with an open mind and don’t let the small things bother me. MSC is not my favorite but I would still cruise them again. We had a great time.
Hi, I’m going on this cruise in October watching some people blogs and I’m not really feeling this shit too many rules you can’t bring soda or water and the mini glass refrigerator is locked. Is this true? All the Cruz shifts have been on, had refrigerators even down to the oldest ships. My aunt does not drink soda so I cannot purchase a soda package. I think I’ve read that both people in the cabin have to buy package and at the dinner table. Everybody has to have a drink I don’t think this is. Right
You are right about bringing soda and water onboard, you cannot. Our fridge was locked. I believe it’s because there’s a mini bar in it and most people don’t use it. You could try to ask them to unlock it and empty it for your use. We didn’t try it, so no guarantees. Most cruiselines require everyone in the cabin to purchase a package if one person purchases it. As far as requiring a drink at dinner, that is not true. You can just have water. No one is going to force you to drink alcohol. Unfortunately, it sounds like this cruiseline would not be a good fit for you at this time. It won’t be for everyone and that’s okay. I’m sorry. Hopefully they will change these things over time.
I was on the Dec 16-23 cruise from nyc which was rerouted. MSC is by far the worst cruise line out there. MSC is garbage. The experience was poor at best. It wasn’t because we were rerouted about 12 hours prior to heck in… This cruise line just sucks. So many issues from no water anywhere on the buffet (also not having staff around to jus5 but drinks), the having to walk on wet rugs from leaks, not having enough staff, internet service didn’t work the entire time we were at sea (when most needed), stateroom attendants nowhere to be found (very other cruise I’ve been in the attendants come and introduce themselves but not on msc), the upgrade to a whirlpool on balcony should have been refunded since we went from a warm destination to a freezing one but of course they didn’t), guest relations was not pleasant at all (also a first for me because in other cruise lines they are never rude). The list goes on and on. There’s not much to do. Shows aren’t even good
I’m sorry you had such a bad experience. I can certainly understand with all that happened on your cruise that you’d feel that way. I wish you a Happy New Year and wonderful future travels.
The MSC steakhouse looks fabulous, and that chocolate production - wow!
The steakhouse was great. And the chocolate shop was so cool. I miss you girl! Have a great New Year!😘
great video! The ship looks beautiful.
Thank you!😊

Watching this video remains me when Michael and I went under Verrazano bridge in July
Going under bridges on a cruise ship is so cool! It never gets boring. 😊

Have a great cruise! I’m sure they will take great care of you in the Yacht Club!
Have an amazing time!!
Thank you! This cruise was during Thanksgiving. 😊
Great video! The ship looks absolutely beautiful. How long did embarkation take? Did it run smoothly?
We had very little wait. It was pretty smooth.

How is MSC? I haven't tried it yet.
It sucks never use them. The worst

Have you ever cruised on Celebrity?
@@debbieboswell5785 I have not yet, but it is on my list!
The reviews vary wildly from it was great to never again. I’m wondering why the great disparity

What dates were your cruise
We sailed November 19-27, 2023. Thanks for watching!
