I just picked up the tint and blush. I agree, it was tough to pick a shade! My skin tone is similar to yours so I was able to gauge based on your shade. 😊 My first Chanel and I’m excited! I’ve had the Nars bronzer since it was limited edition and it’s one of my favorites. The scent alone is summer to me! I really love these colorful looks. They are so inspiring!

Same! Now I’ve been wanting a Chanel foundation for a long time. I had a Chanel Vitalumière cream compact a long time ago and the luminosity it had was insanely gorgeous. Sadly, it was discontinued and I’ve been on the hunt for a new Chanel foundation for a long time. I don’t know if the luminosity would be similar in this one, but it looks gorgeous nonetheless.
@@kohk79 I had the vitalumière aqua foundation (the liquid) years and years ago and it was beautiful but more natural finish. This one looks like it has such a beautiful radiance and glow to it.

That being said, what I liked about the Vitalumière cream compact was its natural but luminous finish… like it was radiant, but not dewy. I think that was a very unique finish that made my skin look great. Does the Vitalumière liquid foundation have that kind of finish? (luminous and radiant, skin like, but not dewy) Does it work well on dry skin? I never bought the Vitalumière liquid version to replace the cream compact, because I just assumed that the cream compact was for dry skin, while the liquid was geared toward normal to oily skin types.

I would say that back when I was using it, my skin was definitely more normal/combo and the finish was natural and not that dewy/radiant finish that is dry skin lovers want and need. I don’t think I would revisit that one today only because my skin as it aged has become more dry and I don’t think the product’s finish would work for me anymore. For everyday, I now LOVE the Laura Mercier oil free tinted moisturizer on top of a dewy moisturizer and then a luminous spf.

Chanel's original Les Beige Water-Fresh Tint product is a light coverage skin tint/foundation and what Rose Inc copied, so they're very similar, if not identical, products other than Rose Inc pricing theirs for slightly less. The original Les Beiges is of equivalent volume and comes with a foundation-sized brush whereas the Rose Inc doesn't include a complimentary brush. This new Chanel Les Beiges Water-Fresh Complexion Touch product was released to be a concealer companion to the original light coverage Les Beige foundation, which is why it comes in a much smaller volume (like most concealers do), comes with a small concealer brush, and has a higher coverage to enable light concealing.

Thanks for reminding me about the DM Tiara as a highlighter! It was one of the first DM products I bought, and I loved it so much, I bought more DM and then completely forgot about it lol. I've been really into highlighters since I cleared up my skin with trentinoin, but because of the trentinoin, my skin is drier and occasionally flakey. Tiara is the perfect formula for that.
I am going to assume that if you are wearing a more fun eye look you’re seen as “more open” and, therefore, “more approachable”. Which, is likely why people are more down to approach you when wearing a fun eye look. ✨

Oh, btw, have you tried the Phytosurgence Spectral Shine highlighters? They're such an unusual formula, and take some getting used to, but now I want to put them all over my face lol. But they're a little tricky because they're so subtle that they're easy to overdo if you don't have the right lighting. Or, I should say, they're easy for *me* to overdo if *I* don't have the right lighting, because I overdo pretty much everything shiny and glowy lol.
From what I have heard, the original Water Tint isn't being discontinued. They (Chanel) are just having stocking issues. This is supposedly being introduced as a somewhat higher coverage version. You might like to try the original water tint more, as some of your issues with the new Complexion Touch are not there (30ml instead of the 20ml in Complexion Touch, higher quality looking packaging that you can read the text of better). The other differences that I have heard about are that the Complexion Touch seems to be more glowy than the Water Tint and the Water Tint has less coverage, probably more comparable coverage to the Rose Inc. Gotta say it looks great, though!!! And, fantastic eye look! Thanks so much!

For the first time, maybe ever, I just got my second bottle of the Rose Inc foundation in a slightly darker shade and I’m just loving it. I’m thinking now of trying some of the other products like blushes. Your recommendation of the Rose Inc foundation is why I tried it and I thought it wasn’t very good when I first out it on but was in a hurry out the door. About an hour later I looked in the mirror and it looked amazing! Store your samples in ziplock sandwich bags. You can write the info on the outside of the bag with a permanent marker. Does Laguna 01 lean almost green? It's really bringing out the olive undertones on your forehead! I'm very pink so it definitely won't work for me if it leans greenish.
