Thanks! One of the best “explanation exercises” on color theory I’ve seen yet. Plus the way it supports the capabilities of the three primaries. 🙏🏻 🎨

Very helpful video. I also use a CMY palette (or some other limited palette when I'm feeling adventurous). I'm curious to know if you've found an efficient way to mix these colours on the fly while working on a piece without making a confusing mess of the palette?
I saw someone divide their palette into quadrants : warm/cool/light/dark with white in the cool light corner, blue in the cool dark corner, magenta warm dark corner, yellow warm light corner.
Sounds great but unless you palette is massive it's hard to keep anything in chromatic order.
    Thanks for the great content!

It is something that comes to us after lots of practice! If you can work in larger palettes a few times, it will give you a better idea of what to make "on the fly!" Some people also will put their palettes out on paper, or color wheels and make notes so they have an idea of what they mixed to create their colors.
Wish we could be more help but it really take lots of time, practice, and patience!

I love this except that you have to mix the pure colors to be able to mix the complements. That’s alot of mixing.
