I think this “experiment” is tails and sonic stitched together. Now before you say “BuT SoNiC Is PoSsEsSeD By ExE” In one of the endings Sonic gets split up after agreeing to work with exe, so this is probably Sonic if he got turned into one of exes servants and got fused with tails
Bro metal sonic gets hoed in this duo endings first in tails and eggman hes dosent get teleported which granted i guess it saved the two but for this he just dosent get a break well i mean he does cuz exe broke his body immediately after teleporting the group BUT THEN HOW IN GODS NAME in the solo ending does he SINGLE HANDLEY kill the exe and the other 2 by himself no chaos emeralds now granted he gets a lil time to shine in the final ending

It just cuts to black and the sound of you dying plays. Than it restarts the level and you lose a life. No continue screen or cutscene
