Trixie Belden was a series I read in my early teens. She was comparable to Nancy Drew. I loved the Trixie books so much better. What a great flashback for me LOL You always come across such interesting items
now that i’ve watched you i think of you whenever i see ash trays and tupperware! your fellow pickers even mention you on the tupperware! enjoy your videos!!
The price on the Trixie Belden books blew me away! I have sold those in my booth, but certainly not even close. I'll have to double check if I have any others left.
ha ha ha Bob Welch was the first concert I went to in 78 or 79! He was in Fleetwood Mac in the early seventies. His album French Kiss in 77 had two minor hits; Sentimental Lady and Ebony Eyes. French Kiss would've been ok, in a 70s soft rock kind of way, but the tape you passed on "The Other One" failed to crack the top 100 and he faded fast after that.
Kevin not hollering just letting you know Bob Welsh (just for future reference )is from like the 40-50’sish Years. I collect albums and my 2 Grandmas passed theirs down to me as well as my mom”! My mom has The Rolling Stones in BNcondition with Zipper on the front of the cover-Oh it’s Amazing. I was going to start selling them but they came back out with Vinyls again so I’m stuck between Rock and Hard Core.💜❤️🤗🇺🇸🙏
Great finds!! Loved all the Christmas stuff! I sent you a message on Whatnot after I had my 3rd auction! From what I understand you get $$ after my first auction. My 9 year old granddaughter wanted to do one and sold girl’s jewelry. She did great!
Thanks for sharing the video I loved the Mr. Christmas finds was awesome some great finds own this day I can't wait to see what is next hope you all have a blessed day
You always find the coolest stuff! Fun vids on this long yard sale series, and I'm always learning a Lot!! I'm surprised no one chimed in on who Bob Walsh was. He started out as guitar player with Fleetwood Mac, and had a Very Successful Solo career. From the bands that you always mention you like in vids, I think you would like his music. That is My teenage Era. Great stuff!!
That freaky rabbit head was likely part of an Easter bunny mascot costume. Sell $80+ all year long and up to $300 closer to Easter. Lighter than you'd think to ship. If anyone ever considers buying to resell, be sure to check for typical clothing stains but also CHECK THE FEET. The best sellers were only worn indoors so the heels & feet are in great condition. Happy Hunting.
Bob Welch was an original member of Fleetwood Mac. He had some good solo stuff too in the early to mid 70's. Capt Beefheart and Frank Zappa played together early on. The music was very different.
Oh the damn horror of hearing "Tubbi toast!!" over and over again...still not as terrorizing as Caillou though. Give me Tubbis 8 days a week. I'm with ya on rock cassettes & few bands are as rock solid of a pickup than KISS. They have so many damn tapes too...in the very late 80s my brother was trying to get all of em & he had 27 of them. KISS is a buy no question. 70s 80s rock are absolute pickups. Another is 80s 90s Hip Hop. When I was 19 and living out of my car for a few minutes a young lady who was in the backseat while the car was parked left an open soda can next to my box of tapes. Most of which weren't in the cases to save a few seconds when having to swap out what's in the deck while driving. Mostly east coast. Everything Wu Tang had made including the purple Raekwon Only Built cassette. Nas. Gang Starr. BDP. And anything from Geto Boys to Pac to NWA to Cube solo projects and guys like Kool G Rap, Eightball & MJG, Kast....I was just devastated when I saw the can of soda inside the box later. I get sick to my stomach thinking of it even today. If it was a guy who left the can of soda it's quite possible a physical confrontation would have occurred at a later date. Mix tapes of CMB, DJ Rectangle and other guys I couldn't just go and buy anywhere. Oh so devastating
Hey Kevin! Great finds on the Christmas stuff! Was so happy to see that alert bell with the new video! I could just watch all day with your excellent sourcing! I’ll just wait for the next videos!! 🤗☺️
I didn't have service at the time I was going to buy that Christmas stuff the only 1 I bought was a talking yule burner log as I had just 2 days prior sold 1 for 45 dollars
@@CommonwealthPicker I'm good. Not sure if I mentioned it somewhere, but I found out this week that my cancer has not come back! So I am excited and doing good!
Rats! I already have those. These books are out of print. The ones you have are about the third incarnation of how they look. I’m needing the ones in the 20’s and 30’s.
LOL You and Paul would have lost a lot of time and money. Most of that table was full of 20 dollar sale items. A lot of it was pretty poor maisto items. Unless of course you wanted it for yourself.
Please Kevin could you leave the pop-up comps on the screen a little longer? I don’t have time to read it all before it disappears so quickly. Thank you.
You really should have gave her the hundred. She’s elderly and you made a killing off her stuff. Kinda makes you look like you take advantage of the sellers. The sellers are standing out in the heat, give them what they’re asking. Makes you look really greedy.
I was in the heat too and now I have to haul, clean, test, list, sell, and ship it. plus pay taxes on it as well. Not to mention how much I spent in gas to get to the sale and then to rent a hotel room and get back. I think she did pretty good on it at a garage sale. i usually would pay only half of what I paid for the Mr. Christmas items.

The big stand up Mickey and Minnie are porch greeters and Mercari sells them for $80 and up for the pair.
That one skateboard looks to be a Powell Peralta board with the skull & crossbones on the front. Loved those boards as I was a skater in the 90’s.
I like watching you shop .
Gods Blessings to All. The Plush Buys Were So Low Priced. Great Profits to Come.
Really good deal indeed
Back in my day, girls read Trixie Beldon or Nancy Drew and boys read The Hardy Boys.
Mine too….and the Bobsby Twins.
Enjoyed the sales. Great finds today!
Did you ever list/sell all those Harley parts you bought months ago ?
Nope. Still in a tub.

I didn't have service at the time I was going to buy that Christmas stuff the only 1 I bought was a talking yule burner log as I had just 2 days prior sold 1 for 45 dollars
Those brass ashtrays look like bunker art? Guys in the army make things out of artillery shells.
That Christmas stuff is great. I actually collect Mr. Christmas items...
Those people-size mascot costumes can sell in the hundreds if they are well made and in good condition.

Trixie Belton were very popular in the early 60's. She was right up there with The Hardy Boys,
Nancy Drew and The Bobbsie Twins...
Which area do you go to yards at. In roanoke it's all resellers
You buy things I would normally pass up on…which is why you make money and I just collect more treasures.
PAUL THE PHILLY FLIPPER ALONG WITH MYSELF WOULD HAVE BOUGHT THE WHOLE CHRISTMAS ITEMS TABLE, GOOD FIND.
LOL You and Paul would have lost a lot of time and money. Most of that table was full of 20 dollar sale items. A lot of it was pretty poor maisto items. Unless of course you wanted it for yourself.
I was feeling lazy with uploading a video today to my channel, your video pushed me to upload lol thanks for the inspiration
Hope to meet you and your gang one day in your trailer. Blessings ❤😊

Hello from Fredericksburg Va
You havent heard of Trixie Belden? 😮 Shes like Nancy Drew. She has a pretty good cult following.
Trixie Belden was the Nancy Drew of the late 1970s and early 80s
Great score as usual
Today I left a hansa stuffed dodo bird with booklets attached,it was only 50 cents. Got home and searched on Internet,$40-$178 on eBay..😭😭
It happens
Love the music
Good Stuff!
New sub! Liked 😀🙏
Awesome thank you!
audio not synced right in the shed
Nice patriotic closure
The way you take bags from other peoples hands is crazy unpolite
A Koala is not a bear it’s just a Koala
Man, if you had a $ for every Beanie Baby that went to a yard sale to die...
Haha they are very common
Joe Walsh - Eagles
Bob Welch - Fleetwood Mac and then Solo in the late 70s
Pickin and a winnin
I get a little annoyed when people know exactly what an item is they are selling and how rare, yet they can't give you a price?
BOB WELCH. ROCKY MOUNTAIN WAY
HELLO. LOL
56's, MISSED MONEY!!!
Not those and not at those prices I'm afraid. I would have lost money on much of it.
Great video! Just curious, do you ever consider taking a duffle bag with you.
Lol. Yes. All the time
Duffles are always a great way to shop around
👍👍👍

Just 25. 😉

Why does everyone always skip on dragon ball z stuff ?? The value is increasing all the time on the vintage things it’s abit daft to miss them out
