i heard how for most people this book is their least favourite out of all Murakami books but to me personally this one is my favourite. Maybe it was because it personally resonated with me I had friends with whom I drifted apart as well so Tsukuru became very relatabe to me. It had its... weird moments just like any other Murakami novel I read (still cant believe a ride Kafka on shore, the first novel I read was to me and suprisngly thats my second favourite of his) but I will always defend Colorless Tsukuru Tazaki and his Years of Pilgrimage
(tbh Norwegian wood is somehwo more popular which I dont understand because I found myself disliking it halfway through and its my least fav for reason I cant explain)

Great video! I wish you spent few minutes at the end going over your own favorite theory, like why Haida left, the death token, who killed Shiro, did Sara ended up choosing Tsukuru or the other guy etc.
Thank you very much! I considered it, but wanted the video primarily to portray the story, albeit in a pretty surface-level way, and leave the rest for the viewers to work out for themselves- especially if that meant them buying and reading the book!
@@Psykk I used to (still kind of do on the side) work as a TH-cam audience growth specialist. One of the thing that's important in growing a channel is adding your own flavor as a creator. People can find surface level information on the book in hundreds of other places. But what sticks and gets people to buy into who you are and what you are doing is when you add your own unique 2 cents. Next time, I would put a spoiler warning and just add it as an extended bonus at the end. Plus that's good CTA to get your listeners to comment on the video and increase engagement, which is good for the video in terms of being favored by algorithm. Anyway good luck bud, keep grinding!
