It’s horrible (I struggle with it) but it creates a lot of intimacy with Christ. Like I may get upset at God sometimes for how he made me but the grace and love he’s shown me while dealing with this has strengthened my faith. People without Jesus don’t have the comfort of knowing God purposefully made them their birth gender.

I saw clips of the livestream that they did a few days ago and the way the guys (Except Karl) carried themselves and responded to Chris was awkward. While I have sympathy for Chris, I am so tired of biological men becoming trans women believing wearing a crop top with their stomach showing makes them feminine.

Buzz had finally accepted the truth. Not space camp’s truth. Not Misses Nesbit’s truth. The truth…..the one he spent the whole movie running from.
Replace Buzz with a trans person, "space ranger" with transgenderism, Woody with you, and Andy with God. In other words, the trans person may believe he is the opposite gender, but you love them enough to be honest enough to tell him he wasn't really what he felt he was. The person may feel their will to live drifting away, but you remind them that they aren't useless and that God loves him.
I do wonder what his son truly thinks. This man says his son is happy and accepting of his new identity but I wonder how much of that is really true. The son looks very young so he may not completely understand everything that is happening and likely his father will be telling him that this identity change is a good thing, but kids are more intuitive and observant than we think. Guaranteed his son will associate his father’s “transition” with his family falling apart.. it’’s a sad and painful situation all around. Will be praying for him and his family through this trial. I also pray that there are close godly friends/mentors to support and encourage them through this difficult time.

Absolutely heartbreaking. It's so SO sad that folks are doing this. I get it's a mental health issue, however, I very much hope they come to grips with their condition and grow to accept the reality.
They won't because society has been gaslit to validate and affirm this disorder rather than compassionately helping them get the help they actually need, not more indoctrination. But part of the problem is society enabling and affirming this form of self harm. But resentment has been built up towards them because of the absurdities that have gotten out of hand and the demands placed to always have to agree, celebrate, support and affirm their identity and/or lifestyle. This is not healthy for anybody.
The entire idea of treating mental health is to compassionately help the person suffering to combat it by seeing the reality of things. For example, I suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder (it’s heavily stigmatized and misunderstood, so I gently ask no one to claim me as something I’m not based on the myths surrounding it). Because of this disorder, I may feel as if my wife is going to somehow betray me or abandon me even if there is absolutely no evidence. This fear can be so intense that I want to hurt myself or even self-delete. Thus, to combat that, I 1) pray to God to help me see the truth and think clearly 2) communicate calmly to my wife and 3) in therapy, practice realizing what’s actually being presented vs what I am subconsciously making up. (Also, for anyone concerned, I am in a much better place than I was before, and I don’t inflict harm against myself- haven’t in over a year. Praise be to God). Basically, what Im trying to say (forgive me for being so wordy), is that no mental health condition is based in reality, and to combat it is to expose yourself to the truth of what’s real vs what you feel. Our feelings are incredibly unreliable.

I have a neurological autoimmune disease which has caused over a decade of intrusive thoughs and depression, although the joy of the Lord keeps me going, I can say first hand that people closest to me either don't recognize it or just pretend that it's not there. I see this Trans thing is the same depressive state but as if I shook everyone by the shoulders and demanded they recognize my condition every day and help me. The truth is once it becomes normal, where he is a woman and no one treats him like a man, he will still be in that state of despair and will need to shake their shoulders again for help, so what then? He turns back to a man...because it's happening, often, and even if you have the funds to go back, it's not going to work the same again and then you are left mutilated and lonely. How much worse the despair will be then.

You are smart. And this video is well made, and has good intentions. I personally don't agree with what you say because: 1. What works for one person (you) may not work for others. Faith is one thing, but religion is another. If you go to Mecca or Jeddah and preach about Christ, you're gonna get arrested. Therefore, different people believe different things that work for them. 2. It's none of our business. I am fully against aggressive woke trans or any other agenda when it's pushed down my throat, and I am the one who chooses what I want to accept. But so far, Chris wasn't aggressive about forcing people to accept him. I didn't even notice change until I started seeing what people in the comments think, which disturbed me. Guy wants to be a woman - who cares? Just because he's a public figure doesn't mean he doesn't have a right to his own private lifestyle. Selling agenda = bad. Being yourself = good. And I don't care about pronouns. 3. At no time in human history were people doing this - yeah, because they didn't have the freedom to do so. Instead, they were quietly suffering for generations. People weren't magically happy in families in the past, many were just forced into it by society. It doesn't have to be that way. Freedom of expression is one that we've worked really hard to achieve, and it has marked the greatest time to be alive in all of human history. I agree that too much freedom can lead to losing responsibility, but I don't think this is the case with Chris and numerous other people who are doing what they feel is right for them. 4. Indeed, everyone who comments has no idea what it means to deal with gender dysphoria. Neither do I, but I have empathy for someone who might be suffering. How do you know that attack helicopter southern boy trucker Chris wasn't doing that just because he was terrified to accept his true self? What's the cure? Force himself to be what he was "made to be", conform to a "cis male family life", go to therapy and accept God and bear the burden all his life? How is that fair? People born cis and straight don't have such a burden. It's easy for them to have families. Not everyone has to. Chris has contributed enough to the world, far more than people watching this video ever will. I have met enough, for example, gay fathers who are faaaar better to their kids than my father ever was to me, but had to leave their wives in order to be their truest selves, allowing them to be more empathic and understanding. It's a thing. The wives understand. It's rare, but it exists. And so what? The "cure" is to accept yourself because your sexual identity doesn't harm anyone else, nor yourself. No, it doesn't harm your child. Other issues like schizophrenia or anorexia are horribly harmful and need to be medically treated. But dude just likes to paint his nails because it makes him happy. He doesn't force you to accept it. I believe he will be a better father to his kid as such. Bottom line - none of us know what's really going on. This issue is important because there are people out there suffering gender dysphoria, and need support from others. Whether you support them through prayer and/or empathy, understanding and affirmation, it is important to be supportive and guide them to not harm themselves. Changing your gender isn't harmful. It doesn't magically influence cis people to become trans. It doesn't ruin society or family or whatever. I hope Chris and all people struggling with their identity get the support and love that they need.

My heart was so broken when I was watch Mr. Beast's live stream. I was so flabbergasted. :( The comments about anything related to Chris were also deleted immediately. People were forced to ignore or praise Chris, and that was very strange for a Mr. Beast video... I love Chris. He's been beside Jimmy since the beginning. This must be really hard on his friends and family. I really hope he can find Jesus and learn to abide in Him, not his own self perception. What a difficult battle. ❤️ Nothing is too big for God. This was so good! Navigating all of this with kids right now is a bit difficult. My sister’s husband came out as trans a couple of of months ago and their gay daughter’s long time girlfriend came out as well. I feel heartbroken for my niece and my sister. I believe trans is absurd and impossible, if you were born a man, you can not become a woman, and vice versa. But I do feel bad for Chris. The vast majority of trans people are victims. Exploited by a system that's turning their own insecurities and inability to accept their identity into a money making scheme. @@dalpaengi Well that's a birth abnormality, or birth defect. Not very many people have ever went through it. Intersex is essentially the same thing as hermaphrodite. But they're not literally both male and female, or literally not male and not female at the same time. Actual intersex individuals are still male or female, or show the traits of one or the other, which basically still makes them male or female. They just have a birth abnormality, which means it's not supposed to happen. It's not a whole separate gender. Also, there has never actually been a person with both male and female parts, those people have never existed. So actual intersex, or hermaphrodite people, those are just birth defects, not actual individuals with both male and female parts.

In extreme (and extremely rare) cases, there can be a kid born with gametes of both sexes, but one of them is not functional. There's no such thing as a person who has functioning male and female sexuality at the same time. It's either a boy born with a pseudo-ovary that doesn't work or a girl born with pseudo-testes that don't work.

As a woman born in the earliest part of the Millennials (some consider us Xennials because we have traits of both generations), I find the whole concept of gender identity to be odd. It seems to hold to very strict stereotypes of man and woman, which is weird for someone who grew up when I grew up because there were dolls marketed toward boys (My Buddy doll, my brother had one). Barbie's slogan when I was a kid was "We Girls Can Do Anything." I even had a Barbie board game with that title. It was about how girls could choose to do whatever they want. Kind of the feminist mantra. My logic says that if gender theory says society made up these roles (and I don't adhere to this theory), then trans is completely illogical. You're still a man if you want to wear a dress. You're still a woman if you want to be in sweats, drink beer, and watch football all day. I find making your entire mental health rely on how others perceive you to be weird too. A pronoun can send someone into a crying fit is a weird thing to me. I wouldn't really care if someone called me a "he." I would think the person was crazy and not have another thought about it, you know? I was raised in the "stick and stones may break my bones" era. I was also very independent from a young age and still am very introverted and independent. Being a Christian helps too. My "identity" is mostly drawn up in Christian religion, my family, American nationality, high school teacher, collector hobby, dog enthusiast, book lover, jigsaw puzzler, and then I guess I would say my sex and sexuality (straight female) and my age (39). I enjoy reminiscing about when I grew up, so maybe that should go higher. Either way, my sex (which is my gender since they're the same thing in my book) is very low on the priority list. Being a Christian is the highest, but I don't go around talking about it. Several reasons for it. 1 is that I typically listen to others more than dominate conversation, 2 is that most of my social interaction is work where I'm hired to teach chemistry, not religion, 3 is that I let my actions show my religion (I hope so, anyway, I pray to be a better Christian every time I walk out the door and pray that my faith shows). Point is, it's weird to me that man and woman are such high markers in people's identities. Your personality should shine more than that. About half the world are men and half are women. That's not as unique as all the combinations of things that make you you.
while i mostly agree with everything you said, the problem started when we stopped having gender roles and said men and women could be and do anything. That is objectivly wrong and unbiblical too. While a man wearing a dress obviously doesn't make him a woman, society's acceptance of these gender bending freaks is where the problem began.
I personally believe that gender theory was enabled by the late 19th and early 20th century secular philosophical thought coming out of western European academia that started to reject the "self" as true and started to define everything - and I mean absolutely everything - as a societal construct. The only reason men and women relate the way they do is not because they have any inherent biological differences, it's only because society deemed it the right way to do things. And what they mean by that specifically is that the people wielding the power over the course of history have shaped human experience and interaction in the way that suited their preferences. Of course this view starts to crumble and break down into nonsense when subjected to even the slightest critique by someone with basic knowledge of neuroscience or biology, or hell even anthropology for that matter. But despite the fact that it's just objectively and provably false, it's still been a wildly successful view and in present day academia pretty much everyone subscribes to it. That's the most striking thing to me, as a graduate student who works with a lot of people who at least claim on the surface to be scientists and want to view the natural world with objectivity. A large portion of them at their core believe in a worldview that isn't just anti-Christian, it's also deeply unscientific. It's a really odd and dark phenomenon. And of course how this effects the rest of us is there's a trickle down effect where people who are educated with postmodernist thought become indoctrinated by it and become the teachers of the next generation.
I am a woman, but online people think I am a 12 year old boy because of my voice. I'm 25. I don't get upset over it, I think it's quite amusing. The only problem I have with it, is that I don't want people to think I am a squeaker and kick me out. I wish my voice didn't sound so childish, but what can you do. So when I see people upset over misgendering, I think it's quite odd. I'm not trans but it happens to me all the time. Hell one time, I even tried making all my avatars and profiles hot pink to give people a bit of hint, and they still think I am a young boy. So when I met a transgender individual online, She told me how She was upset about being misgendered, because She still sounded like a dude. I'm just like my entire life playing games has been like that, I just want to hang out and have a good time, maybe make some friends on the way, if I am misgendered so what I've been told much much worse things. I don't even correct people at this point, I just want to see how long it will go on for. It's funny when they start talking about boy stuff, and I'm like I don't got those body parts so I wouldn't know. I have "aesthetic dysphoria" (my term). Ever since I was a little kid, I always felt very attractive. Until I'd look in the mirror or see photos or videos of myself, and then I'd be forced to admit reality. The difference between how I feel on the inside and what I actually see on the outside has been incredibly hard to live with. But I would never in a million years demand that everyone around me affirm my movie star good looks, because they would be lying, and all it would do is push me further into self-absorbed dysfunction. What would it mean for me to live my most authentic self? Accepting that I'm just an average (or below average) looking Joe-schmoe who's loved by my family and friends, and most importantly by the One who made me.
I can relate to what you say. I have medical conditions that render me physically unattractive in the face and body by societies standards and I’m okay with that. I know attraction and beauty is very important to the human experience. All that I hope for is to be treated with kindness and compassion. I’m okay with people staring. I’m even okay with dying alone because God will be with waiting for me. It’s only basic common decency I hope for. I commend you for your comment. It’s food for thought.

I live in Ghana, I may be weird, but why do our kids need such youtube videos even if for entertainment. My kids are young, I know we live in a digital world, but I'm very careful about TH-cam videos, and I'm convinced I'm doing the right thing. Hopefully, with the fear of God, the nurturing of discipline, and wisdom my kids will not be addicted to screens and the lies of the world.

I can feel the compassion in your comment and it is much needed. I see God shining through your words. I had to find your comment after scrolling for a while. It makes me sad when some Christian’s are full of disgust motivated judgement and pure hatred. I don’t look like a woman or human because of my illness and disability but I don’t suffer from dysphoria or have a crisis of identity. I just look very different. Maybe even scary. And that’s okay. Apparently, God’s angels look pretty scary too haha. What I do suffer from is the underhanded pity, infantilization and ableism of others. So my ministry is reaching out to those who are rejected by society. I speak the truth but I don’t hurt them or embarrass them. I don’t want to scold or abuse them. I want to introduce them to Christ and encourage them to read the Word for themself.

It’s important to learn what your identity is from God. And it’s important to compassionately encourage others to do the same. I no longer believe I’m meant to be married in this life based on what God has told me thus far - and that’s okay! I’m also visibly physically disabled so I’m both incapable of having children. But other Christian people get very uncomfortable or look at me with pity whenever I confess this revelation. They try to invalidate my understanding of the path that God has already designed for me. There are Christian’s that don’t even consider me a real woman based on this. Because of this I feel a special compassion for people who struggle with their identity, not hatred or disgust. I’ve faced a lot of rejection and scorn from some Christian’s but I know that God accepts me. And I forgive those people that disapprove of me.

It’s so weird that the treatment for gender disphoria is to get hormone treatment. When my wife had a hysterectomy, her hormones were out of whack and she was depressed and had crazy thoughts so she had to get hormone treatment but it was hormones women naturally have. The reason guys get roid rage is because their estrogen sky rockets because it turns testosterone into estrogen. Some have to take an estrogen blocker to try and help them feel normal and avoid feeling depressed, angry and irrational. There’s a reason we’re born the way we are and when we’re out of whack, we are not the same. What he says is not true because when someone transitions, they think it will fix them but the suicide rate is still high and I would like doctors to consider the fact that maybe it’s because their hormones are all screwed up. Maybe there’s something more going on. Every trans person I know has had something traumatic happen to them. Everyone single one. Maybe they needed to cope with that instead of just getting hormones. Maybe they still would feel trans but at least they could deal with that deeper pain that is going on. There has to be a connection man. Gotta pray for him and for everyone! I’ve been a wife to a man, a mother to to children, a female born daughter who grew into a woman, and a male born son who grew into a man, both who I love. I’m even now a grandma, and I absolutely love my 3 female born granddaughters. I do and will love them all my life on earth. The Gospel does warn about perfectionism but that doesn't excuse my bad actions. What I find interesting is when they use the terminology that indicates that you can be "in the wrong body". How so? You literally ARE your body. If you are an atheist, you assume that conciousness is mere brain activity and thus physical, according to you a soul does not exist.

Absolutely heartbreaking. It's so SO sad that folks are doing this. I get it's a mental health issue, however, I very much hope they come to grips with their condition and grow to accept the reality.
They won't because society has been gaslit to validate and affirm this disorder rather than compassionately helping them get the help they actually need, not more indoctrination. But part of the problem is society enabling and affirming this form of self harm. But resentment has been built up towards them because of the absurdities that have gotten out of hand and the demands placed to always have to agree, celebrate, support and affirm their identity and/or lifestyle. This is not healthy for anybody.
The entire idea of treating mental health is to compassionately help the person suffering to combat it by seeing the reality of things. For example, I suffer from Borderline Personality Disorder (it’s heavily stigmatized and misunderstood, so I gently ask no one to claim me as something I’m not based on the myths surrounding it). Because of this disorder, I may feel as if my wife is going to somehow betray me or abandon me even if there is absolutely no evidence. This fear can be so intense that I want to hurt myself or even self-delete. Thus, to combat that, I 1) pray to God to help me see the truth and think clearly 2) communicate calmly to my wife and 3) in therapy, practice realizing what’s actually being presented vs what I am subconsciously making up. (Also, for anyone concerned, I am in a much better place than I was before, and I don’t inflict harm against myself- haven’t in over a year. Praise be to God).
Basically, what Im trying to say (forgive me for being so wordy), is that no mental health condition is based in reality, and to combat it is to expose yourself to the truth of what’s real vs what you feel. Our feelings are incredibly unreliable.

I have a neurological autoimmune disease which has caused over a decade of intrusive thoughs and depression, although the joy of the Lord keeps me going,
I can say first hand that people closest to me either don't recognize it or just pretend that it's not there. I see this Trans thing is the same depressive state but as if I shook everyone by the shoulders and demanded they recognize my condition every day and help me.
The truth is once it becomes normal, where he is a woman and no one treats him like a man, he will still be in that state of despair and will need to shake their shoulders again for help, so what then? He turns back to a man...because it's happening, often, and even if you have the funds to go back, it's not going to work the same again and then you are left mutilated and lonely. How much worse the despair will be then.

You are smart. And this video is well made, and has good intentions. I personally don't agree with what you say because:
1. What works for one person (you) may not work for others. Faith is one thing, but religion is another. If you go to Mecca or Jeddah and preach about Christ, you're gonna get arrested. Therefore, different people believe different things that work for them.
2. It's none of our business. I am fully against aggressive woke trans or any other agenda when it's pushed down my throat, and I am the one who chooses what I want to accept. But so far, Chris wasn't aggressive about forcing people to accept him. I didn't even notice change until I started seeing what people in the comments think, which disturbed me. Guy wants to be a woman - who cares? Just because he's a public figure doesn't mean he doesn't have a right to his own private lifestyle. Selling agenda = bad. Being yourself = good. And I don't care about pronouns.
3. At no time in human history were people doing this - yeah, because they didn't have the freedom to do so. Instead, they were quietly suffering for generations. People weren't magically happy in families in the past, many were just forced into it by society. It doesn't have to be that way. Freedom of expression is one that we've worked really hard to achieve, and it has marked the greatest time to be alive in all of human history. I agree that too much freedom can lead to losing responsibility, but I don't think this is the case with Chris and numerous other people who are doing what they feel is right for them.
4. Indeed, everyone who comments has no idea what it means to deal with gender dysphoria. Neither do I, but I have empathy for someone who might be suffering. How do you know that attack helicopter southern boy trucker Chris wasn't doing that just because he was terrified to accept his true self? What's the cure? Force himself to be what he was "made to be", conform to a "cis male family life", go to therapy and accept God and bear the burden all his life? How is that fair? People born cis and straight don't have such a burden. It's easy for them to have families. Not everyone has to. Chris has contributed enough to the world, far more than people watching this video ever will. I have met enough, for example, gay fathers who are faaaar better to their kids than my father ever was to me, but had to leave their wives in order to be their truest selves, allowing them to be more empathic and understanding. It's a thing. The wives understand. It's rare, but it exists. And so what? The "cure" is to accept yourself because your sexual identity doesn't harm anyone else, nor yourself. No, it doesn't harm your child. Other issues like schizophrenia or anorexia are horribly harmful and need to be medically treated. But dude just likes to paint his nails because it makes him happy. He doesn't force you to accept it. I believe he will be a better father to his kid as such.
Bottom line - none of us know what's really going on. This issue is important because there are people out there suffering gender dysphoria, and need support from others. Whether you support them through prayer and/or empathy, understanding and affirmation, it is important to be supportive and guide them to not harm themselves. Changing your gender isn't harmful. It doesn't magically influence cis people to become trans. It doesn't ruin society or family or whatever.
I hope Chris and all people struggling with their identity get the support and love that they need.

This was so good! Navigating all of this with kids right now is a bit difficult. I watch folk like Matt Walsh, and I'm so used to them just tearing into trans people. But I appreciate the more respectful approach to the issue. I believe trans is absurd and impossible, if you were born a man, you can not become a woman, and vice versa. But I do feel bad for Chris. I don't watch mr beast anymore, but I used to enjoy them a lot back then.
The vast majority of trans people are victims. Exploited by a system that's turning their own insecurities and inability to accept their identity into a money making scheme. It's just the latest version of the "miracle pill" to solve all your problems. @@dalpaengi Well that's a birth abnormality, or birth defect. Not very many people have ever went through it. Intersex is essentially the same thing as hermaphrodite. But they're not literally both male and female, or literally not male and not female at the same time. Actual intersex individuals are still male or female, or show the traits of one or the other, which basically still makes them male or female. They just have a birth abnormality, which means it's not supposed to happen. It's not a whole separate gender.
Also, there has never actually been a person with both male and female parts, those people have never existed. So actual intersex, or hermaphrodite people, those are just birth defects, not actual individuals with both male and female parts.

In extreme (and extremely rare) cases, there can be a kid born with gametes of both sexes, but one of them is not functional. As a woman born in the earliest part of the Millennials (some consider us Xennials because we have traits of both generations), I find the whole concept of gender identity to be odd. It seems to hold to very strict stereotypes of man and woman, which is weird for someone who grew up when I grew up because there were dolls marketed toward boys (My Buddy doll, my brother had one). Barbie's slogan when I was a kid was "We Girls Can Do Anything." I even had a Barbie board game with that title. It was about how girls could choose to do whatever they want. Kind of the feminist mantra.
My logic says that if gender theory says society made up these roles (and I don't adhere to this theory), then trans is completely illogical. You're still a man if you want to wear a dress. You're still a woman if you want to be in sweats, drink beer, and watch football all day.
I find making your entire mental health rely on how others perceive you to be weird too. A pronoun can send someone into a crying fit is a weird thing to me. I wouldn't really care if someone called me a "he." I would think the person was crazy and not have another thought about it, you know? I was raised in the "stick and stones may break my bones" era. I was also very independent from a young age and still am very introverted and independent.
Being a Christian helps too. My "identity" is mostly drawn up in Christian religion, my family, American nationality, high school teacher, collector hobby, dog enthusiast, book lover, jigsaw puzzler, and then I guess I would say my sex and sexuality (straight female) and my age (39). I enjoy reminiscing about when I grew up, so maybe that should go higher. Either way, my sex (which is my gender since they're the same thing in my book) is very low on the priority list. Being a Christian is the highest, but I don't go around talking about it. Several reasons for it. 1 is that I typically listen to others more than dominate conversation, 2 is that most of my social interaction is work where I'm hired to teach chemistry, not religion, 3 is that I let my actions show my religion (I hope so, anyway, I pray to be a better Christian every time I walk out the door and pray that my faith shows).
Point is, it's weird to me that man and woman are such high markers in people's identities. Your personality should shine more than that. About half the world are men and half are women. That's not as unique as all the combinations of things that make you you.
while i mostly agree with everything you said, the problem started when we stopped having gender roles and said men and women could be and do anything. That is objectivly wrong and unbiblical too. While a man wearing a dress obviously doesn't make him a woman, society's acceptance of these gender bending freaks is where the problem began.
I personally believe that gender theory was enabled by the late 19th and early 20th century secular philosophical thought coming out of western European academia that started to reject the "self" as true and started to define everything - and I mean absolutely everything - as a societal construct. The only reason men and women relate the way they do is not because they have any inherent biological differences, it's only because society deemed it the right way to do things. And what they mean by that specifically is that the people wielding the power over the course of history have shaped human experience and interaction in the way that suited their preferences.
Of course this view starts to crumble and break down into nonsense when subjected to even the slightest critique by someone with basic knowledge of neuroscience or biology, or hell even anthropology for that matter. But despite the fact that it's just objectively and provably false, it's still been a wildly successful view and in present day academia pretty much everyone subscribes to it. That's the most striking thing to me, as a graduate student who works with a lot of people who at least claim on the surface to be scientists and want to view the natural world with objectivity. A large portion of them at their core believe in a worldview that isn't just anti-Christian, it's also deeply unscientific. It's a really odd and dark phenomenon.
And of course how this effects the rest of us is there's a trickle down effect where people who are educated with postmodernist thought become indoctrinated by it and become the teachers of the next generation.

I am a woman, but online people think I am a 12 year old boy because of my voice. I'm 25. I don't get upset over it, I think it's quite amusing. The only problem I have with it, is that I don't want people to think I am a squeaker and kick me out. I wish my voice didn't sound so childish, but what can you do.
So when I see people upset over misgendering, I think it's quite odd. I'm not trans but it happens to me all the time. Hell one time, I even tried making all my avatars and profiles hot pink to give people a bit of hint, and they still think I am a young boy. I have "aesthetic dysphoria" (my term). Ever since I was a little kid, I always felt very attractive. Until I'd look in the mirror or see photos or videos of myself, and then I'd be forced to admit reality. The difference between how I feel on the inside and what I actually see on the outside has been incredibly hard to live with. But I would never in a million years demand that everyone around me affirm my movie star good looks, because they would be lying, and all it would do is push me further into self-absorbed dysfunction. What would it mean for me to live my most authentic self? Accepting that I'm just an average (or below average) looking Joe-schmoe who's loved by my family and friends, and most importantly by the One who made me.
I can relate to what you say. I have medical conditions that render me physically unattractive in the face and body by societies standards and I’m okay with that. I know attraction and beauty is very important to the human experience. All that I hope for is to be treated with kindness and compassion. I’m okay with people staring. I’m even okay with dying alone because God will be with waiting for me. It’s only basic common decency I hope for. I commend you for your comment. It’s food for thought.

I live in Ghana, I may be weird, but why do our kids need such youtube videos even if for entertainment. I don’t look like a woman or human because of my illness and disability but I don’t suffer from dysphoria or have a crisis of identity. I just look very different. Maybe even scary. And that’s okay. Apparently, God’s angels look pretty scary too haha.
What I do suffer from is the underhanded pity, infantilization and ableism of others.
So my ministry is reaching out to those who are rejected by society. I speak the truth but I don’t hurt them or embarrass them. I don’t want to scold or abuse them. I want to introduce them to Christ and encourage them to read the Word for themself.
All we can do is pray for them. That God's infinite grace can fall on Chris and open his eyes to the truth. I can only feel sorry for his wife and child tho.

It’s important to learn what your identity is from God.
And it’s important to compassionately encourage others to do the same.
I no longer believe I’m meant to be married in this life based on what God has told me thus far - and that’s okay! I’m also visibly physically disabled so I’m both incapable of having children. But other Christian people get very uncomfortable or look at me with pity whenever I confess this revelation. They try to invalidate my understanding of the path that God has already designed for me.
There are Christian’s that don’t even consider me a real woman based on this.
Because of this I feel a special compassion for people who struggle with their identity, not hatred or disgust. I’ve faced a lot of rejection and scorn from some Christian’s but I know that God accepts me. And I forgive those people that disapprove of me.

It’s so weird that the treatment for gender disphoria is to get hormone treatment. When my wife had a hysterectomy, her hormones were out of whack and she was depressed and had crazy thoughts so she had to get hormone treatment but it was hormones women naturally have. The reason guys get roid rage is because their estrogen sky rockets because it turns testosterone into estrogen. Some have to take an estrogen blocker to try and help them feel normal and avoid feeling depressed, angry and irrational. There’s a reason we’re born the way we are and when we’re out of whack, we are not the same. What he says is not true because when someone transitions, they think it will fix them but the suicide rate is still high and I would like doctors to consider the fact that maybe it’s because their hormones are all screwed up. Maybe there’s something more going on. Every trans person I know has had something traumatic happen to them. Everyone single one. Maybe they needed to cope with that instead of just getting hormones. Maybe they still would feel trans but at least they could deal with that deeper pain that is going on. There has to be a connection man. Gotta pray for him and for everyone! I’m more bothered that they let kids go through this stuff when they have no idea what they want in life. Hell, I don’t know what I want hahaha. Man, this is too much. Good message though, take care! I remember hearing this concept of "being true to yourself" in reference to Oscar Wilde, somewhere in the early nineties. I thought similar to what you are saying, that he was a married man and had taken vows. Even further back, C.S. Lewis addressed this issue in his essay "We have no 'Right to Happiness.'"

If I was in the situation where I had a husband and a child and then I suddenly decided something about myself.. I wouldn't say anything about it. I would take responsibility for the actions and be a good mother and wife like I should be. I wouldn't go off on my own saying I'm lesbian or whatever.. because I made that choice and I would have to take responsibility for it. That's why I don't tie myself down in any such places.

I’m a female born woman and have been my whole life, and I absolutely love it!
I’ve been a wife to a man, a mother to to children, a female born daughter who grew into a woman, and a male born son who grew into a man, both who I love. I’m even now a grandma, and I absolutely love my 3 female born granddaughters. I do and will love them all my life on earth.
It may sound boring being a female born woman, but I have had a good life, and continue to have a good life.
I hope you all have a good life too.

Its good that you’re comfortable with your identity! I am disabled so my experience is very different and will most likely remain so but that’s okay with me too. God has a plan for women who are living conventionally and those that live a little differently then the convention.

Loved what you said about finding our identity in how God sees us. I battled with depression and social anxiety because I could never live up to how I wanted others to see me. Understanding how God sees me and believing what He says about me has truly liberated me. His ways lead to life and joy, and we may hear it but never experience it until we choose to believe and trust Him. Anyway, your response hits home and I appreciate it, thank you.
