Jokes aside, this is an awesome obsidian farm design. That said, I would rather use the end platform design, but this has the advantage that you can have multiple of them in one world.
you can also make a nether portal setup with withers and that can be made multiple times in one world

I’ve heard about many traditional ways to farm obsidian but this factory idea with the 1.17 update is revolutionary.
The drip stone is a critical part of the whole thing. Infinite lava wouldn't be possible without, while if you had three buckets of water, you don't really need a drip stone.
@@GSFigure They could use the old End-based obsidian farms. Which would be funny, considering they'd be killing one boss and enslaving another just to generate more trash

love the editing in this. absolutely hilarious. gotta say though, the original premise really didn't have any benefits. having theoretically infinite obsidian doesn't mean anything if there's still an abundance on the main island. still, the final design has a huge benefit being able to AFK. and it's a really cool flex. good job.

@@voxyz1 the reson why they brought plapatene back was because the director from the first built up snoke to be the big bad, but then something happened at his home life so a different director took over for number 8. he killed off snoke, ruined the entire movie and did not come back for nine. the old director was brought back, but because snoke was killed off he had no choice and had to bring palpatene back.
andactually in the extended universe (now known as star wars legends because disney needed to wipe the cannon clean) had darth Sidious return, as he had been working on a contingency plan in case anything happened to him.
it started with Galen Marek, from the video game "The Force Unleashed" where he dies at the end. sidious then uses his dead body as a test for his cloning tech.
in the comic run "dark empire" his idea had been fully realized as it is reveled that the wave of energy that killed vader was palpatene using the force to jettison his soul into one of the Galen Marek clones.
at the end of the arc the cloning facility gets destroyed by luke and the gang and the final clone is shot and killed by han.
though the sidious part isn't even the worst part; DON'T EVEN get me started on the holdo maneuver, light speed skipping, and the fact that the force awakens is a clone of a new hope, down to hero grows up on a desert planet, important stuff in droid, planet killing weapon, reckless mission to blow it up, etc.
there is so much wrong with that trilogy i could be talking for hours. but again, as i said before, IT NEVER HAPPENED :)

To be fair, farming "donate to charity" blocks on a Minecraft server is pretty much the exact opposite of seriousness. I think you need to credit both Mister Beast and the people who came up with the idea of the Minecraft servers for making the serious issue of plastic pollution more fun to solve.

Hello, I'm late to his, but wanted to ask one simple question
since the main island trash is obsidian, why not find proper placement, make just few trash blocks to fill in gaps and make nether portal on spawn island to instantly grab lava from nether, then come back?
