  • All M3 and M3i Indoor Bikes are factory calibrated. Calibration is only required when:
    1. The Bike Computer has been replaced;
    2. The Magnet Assembly has been disassembled or serviced for any reason.
    NOTE: Calibration Procedure applies to computer software version "_406" and above.
    HOW TO CHECK BIKE SOFTWARE VERSION: Remove the Computer Display from the Mount (1 Phillips screw) and remove the batteries for 20 seconds. Re-install the batteries and observe the computer display during start-up and look for "_###".
    TOOL REQUIRED: Keiser Calibration Tool PN 555089, contact Keiser to order (www.keiser.com/support).
    CALIBRATION PROCEDURE: Once initiated, the procedure must be completed within 30 seconds. After 30 seconds, the computer will exit calibration mode and must be allowed to sleep before attempting the calibration again.
    TROUBLESHOOTING: "Err#1" or "Err#2 are usually cause by improper Calibration Tool engagement. Allow the computer to enter sleep mode, repeat the calibration procedure, and ensure the Magnets (under the Magnet Cover being rotated) engages fully into the Calibration Tool cutouts. TIP: Multiple attempts to engage the Magnets until full engagement is achieved is OK. If the error persists, note the error number and values on screen (snap a photo) and contact Keiser Customer Support www.keiser.com/support

    Hello Keiser Team!
    Is there any chance to make a Video about the Error Codes?
    Or do you have a list for it to find out which Problem my bike (or also other devices like Stregth Equipment).

    Is this what you would need to do if the gears have become unaligned? As in some bikes are quite difficult and the magnets comes on before it should?

    After you do the calibration start with the tool 0:33, do you only turn the crank one revolution before you do the 6 turns of the hub?

    How does this calibrate the bike when you are not adjusting the potentiometer, surely you are just setting it to exactly the same setting?

    last step video shows rotate magnet cover 6x, but printed instructions say to move the resistance lever 6x...does it matter at all? I always did the lever method and found it difficult to complete..

      Hi Rick! You can use either method. Please let us know if you have additional questions or feel free to email our service team at service@keiser.com!

    Resistance below 15 is way too easy.
    Can you re-calibrate the resistance to be stronger on each setting?
    For example the new 10/24 would be more like the old 15/24, and the new 24/24 would be more like 30/24 by the old standard .

    Does the calibration tool come with the bike?

    • @KeiserFitness
      @KeiserFitness  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi, great question! The calibration tool does not come with the M3i, because calibration is rarely needed. However, our service team is happy to send one to you, if and when required. You can email service@keiser.com and our team will assist you!

    After replacing batteries, the display just flashes numbers.

    I received a new computer for an old M3 bike and I am trying to calbrate it. When I move the control to lowest resistance and slowly pedal one revolution the display stays blank. It has only come on when I first install the batteries.

      It turns out that the computer doesn't like rechargable batteries. It would be good if this video explained what Err2 and Err1 mean

      I managed to get it calibrated but after that it just won't turn on.

      @@KeiserFitness thx, used the live chat - got a good answer.
      FYI for anyone else trying to find calibration info:
      Calibration for U115:
      1. Display blank/off
      2. gear lever all the way down
      3. rotate the pedals until the display wakes
      4. stop pedaling and move the gear lever all the way up and down 6x
      5. display will flash 55:55 for calibrate - completed.

      @@rickc2222 hi. i also have U115 and am trying to calibrate so thanks for posting. when you see 55:55 is calibration totally completed or is that just to indicate calibration mode has been entered/started? also mine gets to the 55:55 on the fifth time i move the lever to up position. are you sure yours was 6 times and not 5 times ?
