旧暦10 月は神無月と呼ばれるが、出雲地域だけは八百万の神々が全国から出雲へ参集するため、神在月と呼ばれている。
その神聖な神在月に出雲を訪れ、古来から出雲で執り行われている神事を、光をテーマに歴史的・文化的背景と合わせて調査した。

The tenth month of the lunar calendar is typically called "Kannazuki" (the Month without Gods), but in the Izumo region, it is called "Kamiarizuki" (the Month with Gods) because all gods and goddesses from all over Japan gather in Izumo.
We visited Izumo during this sacred Kamiarizuki and witnessed the ancient rituals there, exploring the light in connection with their historical and cultural backgrounds..
