Yes. It is fantastic that they put so much hard work into making the port to PC and next gen. They put so much hard work, and the result is fantastic. I've been playing it on my PC, and it is one of the most fantastically beautiful games I've ever played. The optimization is amazing.

It's very taxing even for a ps5 so them finding the sweet spot for decent fps with a higher resolution and upgraded environment. Dont expect 2160p 60fps with environmental improvements I highly doubt it

Wrong. PC gamers are really picky that's why they upgrade their cards. For example I ran GTA 4 at 120 fps on 2008 then I upgraded my card to a 600$ video card when GTA V came out, and it also ran GTA V at 120 fps. But then, if I hadn't chose to upgrade my card on GTA V's release, I would get like 80 fps. Nice try.
Console Perks: - Cheaper for people that can't build a gaming pc. - Some really good exclusives. (Last of Us etc. ) - Doesn't get shitty ports like GTA IV. (because the developers are lazy) PC Perks: - Higher quality. - Multitasking. - Steam sales. - A lot of exclusives. (WoW, LoL, Dota, CS:GO) - Better FPS. - Better resolutions. - Cheaper games. - You can actually upgrade the PC. (You don't have to wait 6-8 years for an upgrade.) - Bigger communities. - Mods. These are just some of them. I'm sure you guys can add some to the list.

GTA 5, really improved the graphics, brought in more cars, guns, clothes, and apartments to buy. Increased the online to 30 players in one lobby. Added in a first person mode which changes the immersive feeling of being a huge city by a ton and more. This is what I call a remaster, they took one of the top 5 games of all time and made it just that much better. And it comes out in two weeks. lol Thank You Rockstar, you are the best development team to date.

If you PC run Watch Dogs then i think that it can run Gta v , i know they are different engines but you can play gta v in your pc but with lower settings

That's exactly what the 2013 release was, and i find it hilarious how there are people out there who will actually pay $120 on this single game just to play it in 1080p with fancy grass and reflection detail. I am going to pre order the superior version for one payment of $45 and enjoy it more than anyone else did in 2013. That's the way game's are meant to be played. But some people have standards and want a final product the first time around, not the second or third time and have the whole game spoiled already.

Nope, the reason why GTA and other games have been so successful on PC is because of modding. Modding is one of the biggest reasons why PC is superior than consoles. San Andreas still has a big modding community for it and if it weren't for mods, GTA IV would've died ages ago. I'll give you an example. Skyrim is an amazing game but even more amazing with mods. The point of Garry's Mod is, well, creating mods, and that's the reason why Gmod is so popular. Mods allow the community to show their creative side and bring it out to everyone.
I'm gonna buy it for PS4, and for PC, but when the Mod community is in full gear, months after the release and the PC version drops down to around $20.

I loved GTAV, it was the only GTA game I actually finished story-wise. I am actually looking forward to play the remastered version because I want to play the story again and this time we are offered a whole new perspective to do so. I'm sure it wasn't easy for Rockstar to pull off one awesome remastered version because knowing them they always are masters when it comes to detail. For a company who cares about their game and are willing to put a lot of effort to make something awesome, even when we experienced something like it before is a reason that is enough for me to get this game again. I love it how the PC players talk shit about GTA V on consoles since trailer #1 in 2011. But 3 years later the "master race" is still waiting for the game. And who knows... Wouldn't surprise me if Rockstar delays the PC version again. But fuck it... 1,5 years after the original release 1 out of 10 PC players will play the game in 4K. That's what matters! They probably would play the biggest shit in gaming history as long as the game runs at 1080p+ and 60FPS+. I can't wait for the next Red Dead title. Cause then the crying and begging master race can shine again. And start another hilarious petition. Don't get me wrong... It doesn't matter if PC, PS or XBox - Every platform has ridiculous fanboys. But GTA V and the PC players... That's something special.
Id rather wait for the game to be finished than play a beta. That's exactly what the 2013 release was, and i find it hilarious how there are people out there who will actually pay $120 on this single game just to play it in 1080p with fancy grass and reflection detail. I am going to pre order the superior version for one payment of $45 and enjoy it more than anyone else did in 2013. That's the way game's are meant to be played. If playing it first before anyone else is what you want, that's cool. But some people have standards and want a final product the first time around, not the second or third time and have the whole game spoiled already.

Nope, the reason why GTA and other games have been so successful on PC is because of modding. Modding is one of the biggest reasons why PC is superior than consoles. San Andreas still has a big modding community for it and if it weren't for mods, GTA IV would've died ages ago.
I'll give you an example. Skyrim is an amazing game but even more amazing with mods.
The point of Garry's Mod is, well, creating mods, and that's the reason why Gmod is so popular.
Mods allow the community to show their creative side and bring it out to everyone.
I'm gonna buy it for PS4, and for PC, but when the Mod community is in full gear, months after the release and the PC version drops down to around $20.
I was blown away when this first came out because the difference is very significant

I just don't understand the whole console/PC debate. I'm mainly a PC gamer, but saying that PCs are objectively "better" is just stupid. If you want to play GTA V in 4k, you're going to be spending a hell of a lot more than $400 on your PC. PCs have better graphical capabilities, but consoles are generally more affordable; it's as simple as that.

Austin Galligan I am not counting every single pixel on TV/monitor. Today PC systems should have graphics, like in Avatar movie or something like that comparing to PS4/XONE systems.
Resolution isn't big thing. But if you need this 4k or even 8k - play it, if you are able. But stop shitting on console users. Most of people can afford good gaming PC but they prefer consoles. Everyone should play on what they want.

2021 recommendation
I loved GTAV, it was the only GTA game I actually finished story-wise. I am actually looking forward to play the remastered version because I want to play the story again and this time we are offered a whole new perspective to do so. I'm sure it wasn't easy for Rockstar to pull off one awesome remastered version because knowing them they always are masters when it comes to detail.
For a company who cares about their game and are willing to put a lot of effort to make something awesome, even when we experienced something like it before is a reason that is enough for me to get this game again. You rock, Rockstar!

GTA V is a timeless classic, I remember the hype for the games release was unlike anything else, the game itself is so well made, the graphics, characters, the city of Los Santos is so much fun to explore, you never get bored, always something new to enjoy, a true gem and masterpiece by Rockstar Games, one of my all time favorite games 👏👏👏👏👏
