I love gungeon but my biggest complaint was always a complete lack of keys. The key rng can be so bad. I dont want to be drowned in keys but it hurts when the only key i get is the one the shop sells for multiple floors
There are ways you can manipulate your chances of getting keys (not picking any up if they drop if they drop before you find the shop). Also, keys were apparently a whole lot more rare in testing versions.
I hate the boss damage limit like you can be insanely strong but bosses still take the same amount of time to kill as they would if you were half as strong
Hope you enjoyed! I had a fun time making this character and I hope you had fun with it :) There is a module that does function like the rocket one you described, but its quite rare. Theres a good few rare modules to see, and more stuff to play around with!
Another mod by the same Person gives Extreme changes with master rounds. But they are used more like a currency. Its Planetside of Gunymede and its also a great expansion in general
Honestly I would pay 30-40 for a second Enter the Gungeon but understand that they don't want to deal with spaghetti code, curious about how hard it would be to rebuild the game from the ground up so the spaghetti code can be sorted out.
It wouldn't be too hard. They would have the general idea already of how they want to do things from the first game. Which the ideas for mechanics is the hardest part from my experience developing
Even if it crashes, I'm always happy to see more Gungeon. I might even go so far to say I prefer it to Isaac content (even if it's only because I play Gungeon and not Isaac). I would watch even vanilla Gungeon runs, whether it be challenges, streaks, or just regular games. Love the content, keep it up! Unless you need a break, in which case take a break. Your health and wellbeing comes first to content.
I've quite missed your gungeon videos, so this was definitely refreshing, and the modular personally seems fun, as i love the idea of "passives only" kinda run, just to see how ridiculous the bullets can get.

Hey hutts, when you started playing gungeon I was hooked, it got me into roguelikes like isaac and dead cells, but I never played anything like gungeon, I loved the references, rare synergies, bullet filled boss rooms. So pretty much if it wasn’t for your amazing content I wouldn’t still be playing games and enjoying every bit, I wouldn’t have found indie games or roguelikes, and I wouldn’t be enjoying your content right now 😂❤

Your criticism (about halfway through) how the upgrades aren't quite as transformative as equipping a different weapon would be is sort of a liiittle bit because of how you play. There were several transformative upgrades along the way that you simply chose not to take (and you instead took the things that are just damage upgrades instead) and I can imagine that stacking many of them on top of each other along the way throughout a run would be quite silly and fun. Edit: Nevermind you did explore the upgrades a bit more later on in the video instead of just going for numbers upgrades, so yeah, great!
I didn’t play Gungeon for a year or so, after watching this video I immediately installed it again. This is such a good game, I have 200h in that game, just class.
This character is really cool, i think if you played it some more (the past) i think youll see a lot of different stuff, plus it looks like there's unlocks for this guy!

I dont have a pc at the moment,mine broke cause it was like 7 years old and was in really bad shape but when i build or buy a new one im definitely buying etg. I do already have it on console but the mods are so good that it's worth buying again. This one is definitely gonna be one of the first mods i get
The game also definitely feels nicer on pc tbh, I have it on ps4 and it feels really slow, and I've played a little on switch and, well, it's the switch lol

It would be cool if you picked up an upgrade that changed your starter weapon all together say into a bazooka like weapon with 1 in the chamber or a shotgun like weapon with less range but more projectiles
Making modded characters for this game is relatively easy, but actually giving them a past is much trickier. I really wish some folks in the Gungeon community would put their heads together and fully reintroduce the 3 cut gungeoneers back into the game, complete with all the official fixtures like a past and an alt costume. I understand why that hasn't happened yet, but I still hope to see it someday...

If they made something like Master Rounds gave extreme changes to your gun that stacked with other Master Round upgrades.
