Wel done. So good to hear you asking such a diverse range of questions and not just sticking to the new album. And thanks to Biff for taking time out to speak with you and bring out his memories.
Loving Saxon at the moment. They are as good now (if not better) than they've ever been and if the new album is as good as Carpe Diem it will be amazing.
Top notch interview that Baz-got mates who were/are bang into Saxon -so passing this along (I only ever had the 747 single -still do,I think) Merry Christmas from Thailand x
They were as big as Maiden in the UK from about 1980 -1983. Tried to crack America and failed but made a comeback in the 90s. They're still popular in Europe and South America.
Have to admit that I haven’t really listened to Saxon much in recent years but I was lucky enough to see them a few times back in the day and have a couple of short chats with Biff and he was really friendly. Diamond Head were local heroes and the biggest band that never was, Brian T is a great guitarist and a good fit for Saxon so hope he’s doing well.
I saw Mr Blessed do that intro at Bloodstock. Saxon and Judas Priest were on the bill. It was my first gig after the lockdowns. The day after was the anniversary of the first Monsters Of Rock, which was my first gig ever. Saxon and Priest were on the bill that day too. We sat in the sun...and the bands played on......
Is Daft good or bad? I'm not from the U.K.. Well rock isn't dead. It's still around but it's not in the charts anymore. Once in awhile a rock song climbs the charts but not often anymore.. Hip Hop.. Pop and Country are on the charts at least here in the U.S..

I saw Saxon in Times Square here in NYC back in 2011 for the Call to Arms album, and got myself a T-shirt with Lord Kitchener on it!

Great interview. So underrated. Thank you for this
Glad you enjoyed it!
Love Saxon and Biff. Nice interview. Can't wait for the new record. And I liked hearing they were working on a tour of the states.

It's great that Biff and the boys are still recording albums and touring after all these years. 🤘

Love me some Saxon. Looking forward to the new album. Did you say Brian Blessed is on the album? Vultan from Flash Gordon?

Blackmore, a tricky what? Great interview!
Thank you so much for doing this interview 😊
Such a great British band, and still going strong such a hard working band and it's a shame they don't get the recognition they deserve.

The last album 'Carpe Dium' is excellent. The new one is looking great as well
You should give Carpe Diem a try! It's fantastic, and Saxon are as good live as ever.
Very good interview. Thank you
Glad you enjoyed it!
