To be honest, the Republic theme (probably) fits well with the Lumiere Pictures logo.
This movie was released by 20th Century-Fox and the 20th Century-Fox logo did appear in the LaserDisc release of "Highlander".
this puzzled me to over the logo. So I going to make a fan-made airing of Highlander on FX so has the Republic Pictures and 20th Century Fox.
The current DVD/BluRay prints have the Studio Canal logo followed by the Cannon logo at the start of the film
The Republic Pictures and Lumiere Pictures logos have the same sound!
Must’ve been an error when putting together the DVD.

But it is rereleased print Anchor Bay 2002, Studio Canal was shown after THX Logo. Later in 2009 Reprint, Lionsgate is shown in the opening.
