Who talked about boundaries ten or twenty years ago? And if you have boundaries with your spouse, shouldn't you put them in your vows? It's an integral part of the marriage. Also boundaries don't work with mentally ill spouses (and something like 30% of women report having mental health issues).
What is the recommendation for Christian couples if one spouse is a serial violator of another spouse's boundaries? Separation? Divorce?
How about going back to the old method? Societal peer pressure.
