- The new ring rally mode is a really good way to improve your CTR skills, you learn how to keep blue flame and pull off difficult shortcuts etc! I'm happy they brought this to the game

One thing I wished that CTR had is the ability to fully customise your controller layout .
might be slightly late but you can do it in settings on playstation. dunno bout xbox though

i played the og on ps1, started playing this one, literally no matter wtf i do, can't make any progress on sewer speedway. i have spent the last 20min googling a variety of different search terms to figure out what i was doing wrong and this is the first thing i found that actually helped. tysm
The hardests shortcuts are on blizzard bluf, those two jump point at the final of the track... Man...
Well in ring rally it's a bit easier, since you get boost for going through the rings. But I agree, to get the fence hop consistently is pretty hard.
For me, it's the one in sewer speedway.

I thought your comment was annoying and insulting to the original game times but I thought about it and you’re right. Doing relic races only gets you good at relic races specifically. This will get you good at ring races time trials and online

I tried doing that shortcut in Sewer Speedway.
It cut my momentum short.
This is definitely really useful info. I've played ring rally across all the levels an it's really a lot of fun I think. Maybe I can somehow use it to eventually beat all of n tropy's time trials. Cause I still haven't done it yet. God I'm lazy! Precision and timing jumps really is everything isn't it? Lol

As one of the CTR "gods" as you put it, why am I watching? Well... When you don't have any challenges left gotta entertain yourself somehow right? I mean... The day ring rally dropped I did HAS 700k in a single go on what I felt was a bad run "shrug" that's when I was for sure "god" status. But need that completion top 5% every GP :D but if you keep teaching new players to get better the game lives longer with more active players. I just wish skill based matchmaking actually worked... Oh well. Nice vid though, RR is a good way to get better for sure. If you really wanna improve, practice on blue fire tracks like oxide station or cortex castle. If you can make those corners without losing ultra sacred fire, you can win any track.
I just want to be good enough to get N Tropy. The only track I've beat him on is Retro Speedway and you don't even have to do that one.
As a veteran I watched this video because I wanted to see if the what you were suggesting was actually useful.
In my opinion Ring Rally is great for getting better at the game but you still may watch some videos that explain the more advanced techniques and mechanics and practice them in, say, Time Trial a bit first.
I hope they add a new mode next month aswell. Cnk team mode?

How much coins do you get?
@@greygods9824 it depends on how many laps and rings you get in your counter, and it also depends on which track you're racing on. Normally I can do from 6-8 laps and the average is around 120 - 140 coins, and on weekends it doubles so it's pretty good imo

Dragon Mines has a harder shortcut than Polar Pass, but its not that much harder.

I just bought the game today. What character and kart is easiest for me to powerslide without moving across the screen
If I were you I would just start with the best class. And that's speed of course. Don't think you should bother going for a more beginner friendly class. Because in the end it will be your go to class. Since it's simply the best. Better learn it from the get go, instead of learning a other class and then switch to speed later on.
But if you really want to begin with something else, I should go for balance. At least don't go for turning, that class is so weak.

@@AlfredBelmontI've definitely gotten better, and I'm not playing the game on the Switch anymore now that I have an Xbox Series S, but I still can't handle some. I never used to be able to beat any of N. Tropy's times, but now I've managed to beat Oxide's times in every track except Slide Coliseum and Turbo Track up until Polar Pass.

I tried to start the adventure on hard difficulty but then i kind of didn’t know how to play and got destroyed by everyone.
I just switched to normal difficult and beat the two first tracks.
The game seems fun so far.
What’s your kind of play style ? I took a liking to the acceleration stat to be honest.
