Not sure why but the lead singer's voice and lyricism make me feel like he's a good guy. Like he goes on walks around his neighborhood just to rescue kittens from trees or something. Anyway great album! I wish it was longer, but still this is a solid 40 minutes of tranquil progressive rock and I'm looking forward to the next album or EP. Keep it up!
Why I have not posted something here before, I have no idea! This album is so mind boggling, it seems to transcend genres, like mixing progressive jazz with... something else.... cannot describe it, like taking progressive jazz to a whole new level! I LOVE the transitions between songs, gives the listener a bit of time to kind of cool down from the previous one, and catch their breath before the nest one kicks in! It turns the whole album into one cohesive listening experience, not just a bunch of individual songs strung together! Great job, huge props to Galia Social for this incredible contribution to the world of music!!! :D
hahahaha yes.... it was quite a while wasn't it... hopefully it won't be that long until the next one... thank you so much for the support! Can't tell you enough how much we appreciate it. :)
This is crazy good. Kinda like a chill version of Arch Echo with vocals. Love the whole album! You have a lot going for you guys, and I'm looking forward to listening to more of your stuff!
This music really is amazing. particularly I love rise, fire and colours. I wish more people knew about your music and I love the way the different songs connect each other. magical
@@GaliaSocial thank you - my ears can’t get enough listens :) so many perfectly fitting but eccentric modulations. Harmonious bliss. I’m in a 3-piece too and know and appreciate the challenges of filling up that sound - like I said you guys are masterful. Also subbed LoC’s page. 🤯 You guys rock!!!
This album is fantastic. Its lyrics may not be aspirational per se, but they do hold some personal significance for me at times. Specifically that bit in Rise: "darkest days are gone, night becomes a dawn, paint your pages white, too late to be undone." I'm in a very tough place and that sentiment is one that applies very nicely to what I aim to do, albeit with a different meaning than it has in the album at large. I've outwardly been living a lie for my whole life, essentially, and I wish to disconnect from that life completely and start anew elsewhere. In the sense that it's an escape longed for privately for years, I think those lyrics in particular work beautifully to convey the catharsis I'll likely feel if it comes to pass. In a small capacity, it allows me to feel that joy now - something I desperately lack. On another note, I really like how that line in Colors' chorus is used: "we all lie, I won't judge you 'cause so do I" comes across as incredibly, earnestly empathetic to say to someone, and then in Victory it comes back with "'cause we all lie, and so do I, you'll never see the enemy." What a wonderful way to convey the emptiness of Galia's word, what a wonderful way to foreshadow his dishonesty through a sincere yet deceptive statement. It's empathetic on the surface but it's just a means to an end. I love the way Colors as a whole presents a faux-motivational appeal in this context, it's great! And that lying line is the height of it for me.
We really appreciate you taking the time to write out such a comment. It's a great feeling knowing people like yourself listen to the album so intently.
@@GaliaSocial Thank you for the response c: Looking forward to part 2! Whenever that may be. I wish you all the best in its production, whether it's ongoing or still some time away!

I thought this comment was silly but now I'm starting to hit an alarming number of listens
This kicks absolute ass, I love the style and the way each track flows to the next, on the edge of my seat for album 2 gents!
