    just wanted to say from someone who's comes a background of an eating disorder & still struggles now see how your diet is so whole balanced and including all foods groups and seeing you eat in abundance is really helpful bc a lot of vegan you tubers still eat in a very orthorexic way/restrictive way and it can be v triggering so i rlly appreciate that keep doing u and spreading your message of health

    I'm not vegan, but I'm in the process of cutting all the junk out of my life. I want to get to the point where my meals are 80%+ fruits, veggies and grains. At the moment you are my favorite TH-camr and I am obsessed with your videos!!! Keep doing what you do❤❤❤

      Sarai D I'm thinking about doing a plant based 30 day challenge soon. Caitlyn and some other vegan TH-camrs are so inspiring and make me think that being a vegan wouldn't be so hard. We could do the challenge together!

      That's a great goal, and watching all of Ms. Caitlin's videos will certainly inspire you, I'm sure. If you want to get to the point where your meals are mostly plant based, just do it. I advocate and teach to eat a healthy plant based diet and people are more ready than they think they are to make the right, long lasting and positive changes in their lives through appropriate plant based food choices.

      Not really natural. Try eating beef jerky and eggs and dairy if you can. Any of those and you'll feel great, because they contain all the essential nutrients. That lady lived to 116 eating eggs everyday. You don't need those green, leafy vegetables, they're just good for fiber (helping you poop). You can't even digest them.

      Michael Campbell If I'm being honest, I love junk food and take-out/fast food, but I love my body and health more. I'm ready to take the steps to living a healthier life. The videos on this channel are inspiring and they make me excited to try new foods and recipes. I also love how she shows that you don't need to spend a fortune to eat yummy, healthy, filling foods!

    I like chia seeds. Fresh blueberries are better. chickpeas are great! The white stuff of the orange doesn't taste bitter to me. I actually scrape the inside peel, because I like to eat it.

    On the orange miso dressing, can I omit miso or just use mashed chickpea instead? And I will sub chickpea or fried, sliced polenta and mishrooms vs edamame.

    YESSS protein is so satiating! I do find that I feel really heavy when I have too much--LOL! But yes, omg, I really want to try that quiche and the sushi bowl recipes!
    P.S. I love salads too! My favorite additions include bell peppers, cucumbers, tofu/tempeh/seitan, eggplant, butternut squash or kabocha squash, spinach, and pumpkin seeds!

    Also, can you do a vegan Q&A? I'm really curious as to whether vegans kill cockroaches, flies, or rodents if their house is infested or has them (weird Q but I've never heard a vegan talk about it)

      If they bother me, I catch bugs in a cup or something and bring it outside. Rodents I have caught in a live trap and bring it back outside. However I have never had an infestation.... just like one or two

      personally, im not opposed to killing flies and mosquitos if they're really bothersome but i try not to lol. never had to deal with rodents but im way too scared of them to even get close to one so i dont think i would kill one 😅

      You're probably going to get a lot of varied responses, but ultimately it comes down to personal choice: a choice that in most cases has nothing to do with being vegan.

    I really want to try to chia pudding! I've been wanting to try to make a version of that but didn't have a real recipe and now I do! I'd love to see a video on how to order vegan food in non-vegan restaurants (especially when the server doesn't speak the same language as you, whether its traveling or simply a language barrier). I'm always so nervous that what I'm ordering will have hidden animal products...
