Mr Paul is a super smart guy. I'm a owner operator of a mobile heavy equipment service provider and I do my numbers every 30 days to make sure Im profitable. So I know I'm making money and not doing the work for the fun of it! The best episode I've watched and I have watched every one of them. Side note I live in central Texas. Keep them coming guys your doing great!

Great show. I would LOVE to hear Torq and Dougo one day talk about how farming has changed in their lives and new generations bringing in more technology

one reason to know your financials is you can tell what crops/services/offerings are actually profitable. You have to track your books to know this.
No one looks at costs til a downturn. Having your books in order will show you what costs to look at first.

As a small to mid size farmer/rancher with ZERO borrowed money/no current loans, I can judge the farm barometer fairly good. And if I start feeling a bit of the pinch on the expenditures fert, seed, spray, fuel, Ins, food, kids, grand kids then the big boys gotta be feeling it. I am usually spot on this issue. We have a whole herd of 40+ year old tractors. I will not buy newer paint..

"I believe I was conceived for farm labor" 😂😂😂 okay, I think they need like 4 farmhands drinking beer at a table because that did not get that laugh it deserved😂😂

You dont need to farm more...Just farm what ya own and do it right with older equipment..3.50 corn and 10 dollar beans will tell the tale.
