I agree, there is a duty of care. You do not put somebody in that state in a room with a balcony and then call 911 telling them you are afraid he will jump. Damage to a room is refundable. His life is forever lost. It is just incredibly sad.
I don't like that she decided this is the time to pick apart and make a dig at a 7 year old boy who has just lost his dad, what's wrong with his name? I found her very very rude and hurtful when she said this about bears name disgusting to comment on that, especially right now!
What duty of care? He was a grown man who took drugs and drank of his own volition. The hotel staff did the right thing by taking him back to his room when they easily could've called the police. This was an avoidable tragedy, but no-one is to blame.
It does beg the question. If the hotel manager knew he was up in his room drinking and doing illegal substances, what should they have done? The phone call insinuates that they knew about his drugs usage, but were also saying not to bring the police . They were trying to cover their own asses in my opinion. I think the hotel manager knew alot of what liam was up to and I think that hotel must be a frequent visit for high profile celebrities and they probably allow them to get away with alot and enable it
@WOAHVllCKY No different to the staff at the hotel Whitney Houston died in. Staff knew she was on drugs but turned a blind eye because of her celebrity. If this was Joe Bloggs, he'd have been kicked out and put in police custody.

On a personal basis for his family and as an individual it's very sad... But as a manufactured entity why are we giving this so much attention when a real artists like Chris Cornell got a fraction of the consideration and recognition ! ??????
This is why a certain entertainment company in Korea ( a fairly new one) has mandatory psychological and therapy sessions for all their artists as part of their contract.
Something which is bothering me about this, is that he seemed completely sober in his final snapchat video, which apparently was just a few hours before he fell off the balcony, but there have been reports that he was high on drugs when he fell. He must have been taking some pretty strong stuff to be in that state so quickly after appearing on video in a normal mood and condition.

How do you know that? Very few details about this have been made official yet, so I'm not sure why you're rushing to that conclusion.
