I've been in the underground city in Cappadocia, Turkey. I have acute claustrophobia & at times; I was calculating how fast I could get to the top. At one point, you had to crouch down to about 3 feet to go through a short tunnel. The tour moved pretty quickly and all of us with claustrophobia didn't kill anyone in order to climb over them to get out. Cappadocia was an incredible place where Christians had to live in what looked like huge anthills.

There are plenty of TH-cam videos of people that have very good explanations on how the stones were cut, transported, and assembled to build the pyramids. Whatever would motivate a people to dig such an elaborate underground warren and then permanently live there must have been something truly frightening. It would be so unhealthy to live down there. Where does the sewage go?

Well the urine was collected to get saltpetre to make gunpowder and the solid wastes were collected to fertilize the crops grown in the surrounding farming areas - the same as has been done in much of Asia right up until the present day! 😉😊

I always thought that the Great Sphinx faced the rising Sun which as far as I know rises in the East!

Right, I thought I had mixed it up. It does rise in the east. They would have there dead face west to accompany the sun to incarnation (another day). ?
