That's potentially 4 TDs and a FG, not scored on drives, 3 of which I think resulted in no points at all. This game could've been a much worse outcome for LSU. ESPN isn't talking about USC for the same reason they're not mentioning that the SEC is now 2-11 in the last 20 years when they actually travel go out West. ESPN is propaganda for the SEC win or lose.
Lincoln Riley’s best game of his career so far. He showed he can plan, scheme and win a tough football game against a physical opponent - without having an elite QB on the roster. That’s coaching, and he deserves credit.

As a USC fan, I watched Brain Kelly's teams plenty of times because I am also a Notre Dame fan. How does that work? I root for the underdog when they play. Brain Kelly always seems to lose the big games because he goes conservative. In those big game implications, he wants to play it safe instead of risk it. I did not know this was a big game with big implications. I thought Brain had the better team with the better veteran players because they had some success in the SEC last season. I thought Lincoln had so much pressure on him with a new team with minimal experience. USC still needs to show consistency because they fall off towards the end, but this game might give them a playoff spot. We don't know it, but this game was for a playoff spot. GESH! It felt like one, and we didn't even know. Unless you are a hardcore College football fan and saw this coming.
So now that USC beat LSU, all of a sudden they are 5-7th best in the SEC. What I saw last night was a USC team that can beat any SEC school with the exception of maybe Georgia and if USC had this defense last year, they would have been playing in the national championship game instead of Washington. On the last drive lsu allowed usc to EASILY get to lsu's 42. 1:49 is plenty of time to pick up a few first downs. Db's were playing soft i just didnt understand what lsu was doing. Then on the 42 usc qb made a GREAT throw and the db got called for targeting. Then the td run by marks. That was the worse defense ive ever seen on that last drive.

Offensively we gotta get more creative with Branch. He needs more touches. Our offensive line needs to get better with recognizing pressure & picking it up as well as Miller Moss. Outside of that I was very impressed. Gonna see how good we really are against the defending national champs in 2 weeks in Ann Arbor

They got whooped. Alabama and LSU had good 15 year run it’s over they weren’t good in the 80’s or the 90’s.
Alabama won the national title in 1993. SEC title in 1999.
