Nebraska was just fine on D last year but lacked offense. Rhule adds a RB from Oregon, a WR from Texas, an OL from the gators, and tops it off with a 5 star QB. Not a bad offensive upgrade. He also added a DB from Southern Cal for good measure
As a victim of BVS I know in my heart of hearts that tenn could find a way to lose this one. I find solace in listening to podcasts or interviews with Tenn's players, including Nico, that show what a great bond they have and how mature the leaders appear.
It's time to let that go brother. This team is built differently. We finally have the depth where we can sub in backups and not fall off. We can rotate 13 on the defensive line. We can go 7 deep at WR and 3 deep at TE. Our defensive backs haven't really been tested bc everyone has tried shorter quick passes bc of our rush. But they are more athletic now. I think we are only going to get better moving forward too. Break out of the BVS. Heupel isn't Jones. GBO 💪🍊
Great show. McElroy and Pate are a great combination of two of the best minds for analyzing CF. One thing anybody who has to play the Vols must worry about is their size. The OL has 10 bodies of more than 330 lbs. The DL has several 340s that can move. I am a Longhorn, and we are a big team, but the Vols are much bigger than us and the Dawgs. Against OU I will be watching to see if the big bodies are fat or lean. Venable's defense is no joke when he has them prepped and ready. He has a Linebacker's mentality. They will tell us about the Vols. If they overpower OU then they have something. Otherwise, they are a bunch of fat guys.

We easily handled teams we were supposed to beat, you guys struggled badly against team you were supposed to beat. OK has a good defense, might hold UT to high 30’s. Issue is, good luck scoring.
