The vast majority of news that we see and hear on TV every day is negative and depressing, yet we drink that negativity and take it into our existence every day. No wonder we so easily become ill, depressed, discouraged. To combat these negative effects on our existence, we need to fill ourselves with positivity. So search out goodness, nature, positive words, positive people, and music to push that negativity out of our mind and body so that we may heal and feel and grow the strength and goodness that already exists within us. You cannot always control the input that comes at you, but you can control how it affects you by counter-acting its affects and how you react to it by what you say and do immediately after experiencing thise negative inputs fired at you. Be positive, be strong, and know that you are appreciated here on Earth.
It’s not what the word means what is important. It’s what the mind creates with the words, emotions, sensations, memories. How it organizes everything for use to experience. That’s 1000 times more important to understand.
So let me explain my own story. I was Ill many years ago and went to many doctors. Nothing improved it. I had a very intuitive friend who said you're going to have to do this yourself! And you'll figure it out. I had no idea other than to just start praying and I did. You have to understand I was so ill that the outer edges of my vision were all black and as time went on this blackness was getting worse and worse and worse I was incredibly weak and all the rest. I could hardly walk through feet without stopping. So I took my friend's advice and started praying. At first I felt it was completely hopeless. But by the end of the first night I could stand up and walk a little further, The Blacklist in my eyes was less and I felt a little bit more alive. By the end of the third day I could walk 10 ft and was profoundly better. For those first three days I prayed 10 to 12 hours a day. Don't mind you it was only 10 or 15 minutes at a time then I would take a break for a few minutes and start again. I pretty much said through the grace of God in perfect timing that my lungs are healed, my stomach is healed, I went through every single body system that I could and I just kept saying it over and over and over again. I then discovered that if I started saying a one sentence prayer for those that I knew that were ill my friends and such that that seem to speed up my own healing. I shared this with a friend who was in a nursing home, she was only 44, and felt hopeless as I did. She started the same prayer therapy for herself quietly in her own little bed in her own little room tucked away from the world, she was so lonely, but by the end a four or five days she herself felt much much better. She said it's so simple and here I am having all this time it worked it worked! So yes the body is aware of the words you say. And even if you don't believe!! They still work they have a power to them. How many times has the grace of God been said? Trillions and trillions. As far as I am concerned and from what I experienced I didn't have to believe when I said that I couldn't but it did work the power of those words worked no matter what
I believe words play an important role but let’s be realistic and remember that other things also come into play. Try eating mercury everyday you will become sick even when you tell yourself you are healed..
And that's why certain Chants and Prayers are preformed at a particular pitch and rythem..and that's when they work..and people see miracles.. I've seen things that are hard to explain!

FASCINATING! My Spiritual Teacher told us of the power of the words and mantras,l but I don't recall such a scientific explanation as put forth here. I got an OM tattoo when I turned 18...I was not really educated on what it actually was I was a teenager...I did give it thought though because I knew it would be permanent, I knew about the OM symbol because I had gotten into Hare Krishna as a teen and was amazed I was never exposed to other cultures growing up my parents are from the deep south...I am now in my late 40's and have a deep understanding and connection with not only the symbol but the vibration itself..I am amazed and grateful that my young teenage self was subconsciously attracted to this sacred vibration. I am telling myself only negative things since childhood and I am a wreck and my immune system is shit. I tried positive affirmations, but I can't keep them up for more than a day.

This is about the most important sounds we all need to hear. The Small Still voice. Why does God have such a small still voice? Why are his instructions so quiet we often spend more time missing his voice than hearing and obeying. This even happens when we are in prayer ASKING for answers. We often leave confused and unsure of anything, not knowing any more than when we started. Sometimes we become more than a little disappointed with God for not being clear enough, so we will not miss his will. A lot of Christians eventually abandon asking God for direction, and start making there own decisions because of this, yet we are supposed to “hear” and obey. Well God, “where is the voice to listen to”??? Why does he give such “easy to miss” directions instead of unmistakable clarity. It took me years to understand the answer. Well, the reason is that God has made our lives so we have free will until we die. If he made commands with a loud voice every time we asked a question, choice would not exist, so this can not be. The reason is that freedom means we all follow God by choice, a choice that has been left entirely ours. In order to be available in a way that does not violate this principle he can only leave a small still voice. The fact it’s so hard to hear, leaves us with freedom of choice. Because of this one must learn to hear this voice, to get it ever more refined in our lives, since this is all God can ever give. Learning to hear takes a lot, and even then it will mostly be quiet and hard to discern. This is why you need a lot of time in the word and prayer. This is how you learn. Without prayer and learning the word of God, “hard” becomes almost impossible. God Bless.

It is not of ourselves, but through the gift of God's grace that we are saved. Upon HEARING the gospel, if we BELIEVE the gospel, we are sealed with the holy Spirit of promise unto the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13-14). A lost soul can only be saved by trusting Christ to have done everything necessary for our salvation though His finished cross-work. Romans thru Philemon are the only books in the bible that explain salvation for today. In those books we find salvation is by faith alone, in Christ alone, without-any-works-of-any-kind-at-anytime. Christ died for your sins, and has risen for your justification (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) Put your faith in what He did rather than what you have done, are doing, or are going to do. Salvation is not getting-your-sins-forgiven, it's believing they already are. No wonder we so easily become ill, depressed, discouraged. To combat these negative effects on our existence, we need to fill ourselves with positivity. So search out goodness, nature, positive words, positive people, and music to push that negativity out of our mind and body so that we may heal and feel and grow the strength and goodness that already exists within us. You cannot always control the input that comes at you, but you can control how it affects you by counter-acting its affects and how you react to it by what you say and do immediately after experiencing thise negative inputs fired at you. Be positive, be strong, and know that you are appreciated here on Earth.

So let me explain my own story. I was Ill many years ago and went to many doctors. Nothing improved it. I had a very intuitive friend who said you're going to have to do this yourself! And you'll figure it out. I had no idea other than to just start praying and I did. You have to understand I was so ill that the outer edges of my vision were all black and as time went on this blackness was getting worse and worse and worse I was incredibly weak and all the rest. I could hardly walk through feet without stopping. So I took my friend's advice and started praying. At first I felt it was completely hopeless. But by the end of the first night I could stand up and walk a little further, The Blacklist in my eyes was less and I felt a little bit more alive. By the end of the third day I could walk 10 ft and was profoundly better. For those first three days I prayed 10 to 12 hours a day. Don't mind you it was only 10 or 15 minutes at a time then I would take a break for a few minutes and start again. I pretty much said through the grace of God in perfect timing that my lungs are healed, my stomach is healed, I went through every single body system that I could and I just kept saying it over and over and over again. I then discovered that if I started saying a one sentence prayer for those that I knew that were ill my friends and such that that seem to speed up my own healing. I shared this with a friend who was in a nursing home, she was only 44, and felt hopeless as I did. She started the same prayer therapy for herself quietly in her own little bed in her own little room tucked away from the world, she was so lonely, but by the end a four or five days she herself felt much much better. She said it's so simple and here I am having all this time it worked it worked! So yes the body is aware of the words you say. And even if you don't believe!! They still work they have a power to them. How many times has the grace of God been said? Trillions and trillions. As far as I am concerned and from what I experienced I didn't have to believe when I said that I couldn't but it did work the power of those words worked no matter what

self- affirmation brought me to lose 35kg weight, got me into IT, got me girls, stopped smoking. Just by the help of a mental trainer how told me to write down my goals and read it 10 times loud in the morning and evening(or often) until i reach my goals. 10people where in my class and all archived there goals with this method.

I got an OM tattoo when I turned 18...I was not really educated on what it actually was I was a teenager...I did give it thought though because I knew it would be permanent, I knew about the OM symbol because I had gotten into Hare Krishna as a teen and was amazed I was never exposed to other cultures growing up my parents are from the deep south...I am now in my late 40's and have a deep understanding and connection with not only the symbol but the vibration itself..I am amazed and grateful that my young teenage self was subconsciously attracted to this sacred vibration. Knowing how good you are doesn't come by telling yourself that, it takes practice at what you're trying to achieve, so I say no to this theory, even if you're the best at something, trying to reassure yourself with words, doesn't always work.

I agree. What people should do is put aside what others are saying and ask themselves, has this worked for me? If not, the def of insanity is doing the same thing over and expecting diff results. This is about the most important sounds we all need to hear.
The Small Still voice.
Why does God have such a small still voice? Why are his instructions so quiet we often spend more time missing his voice than hearing and obeying.
This even happens when we are in prayer ASKING for answers. We often leave confused and unsure of anything, not knowing any more than when we started. Sometimes we become more than a little disappointed with God for not being clear enough, so we will not miss his will.
A lot of Christians eventually abandon asking God for direction, and start making there own decisions because of this, yet we are supposed to “hear” and obey.
Well God, “where is the voice to listen to”??? Why does he give such “easy to miss” directions instead of unmistakable clarity.
It took me years to understand the answer.
Well, the reason is that God has made our lives so we have free will until we die. If he made commands with a loud voice every time we asked a question, choice would not exist, so this can not be.
The reason is that freedom means we all follow God by choice, a choice that has been left entirely ours.
In order to be available in a way that does not violate this principle he can only leave a small still voice. The fact it’s so hard to hear, leaves us with freedom of choice.
Because of this one must learn to hear this voice, to get it ever more refined in our lives, since this is all God can ever give.
Learning to hear takes a lot, and even then it will mostly be quiet and hard to discern. This is why you need a lot of time in the word and prayer. This is how you learn. Without prayer and learning the word of God, “hard” becomes almost impossible.

I would like to share the gospel of our salvation in the dispensation of God's grace. “Grace can be defined as the undeserved favor of God for people who deserve His condemnation.”
God does not hold sins against us because they have already been paid for (every sin for every person.) Christ was made to be everyone's-every-sin (2 Corinthians 5:21). However, full reconciliation is not achieved until an individual "reconciles himself" to God (2 Corinthians 5:20). This happens upon belief of the gospel of our salvation. All humanity is forgiven but not all believe it. Being forgiven does not equal being saved, salvation comes by faith. Salvation is appropriated by faith, forgiveness of sins is NOT. Your sins were forgiven regardless of your belief. God did not need your faith at Calvary, He only needed His Son.
SALVATION is only gained by trusting Christ - via belief in the word of truth (the gospel of our salvation.) Salvation IS by works, just not our own. It is not of ourselves, but through the gift of God's grace that we are saved. Upon HEARING the gospel, if we BELIEVE the gospel, we are sealed with the holy Spirit of promise unto the day of redemption (Ephesians 1:13-14). A lost soul can only be saved by trusting Christ to have done everything necessary for our salvation though His finished cross-work. Romans thru Philemon are the only books in the bible that explain salvation for today. In those books we find salvation is by faith alone, in Christ alone, without-any-works-of-any-kind-at-anytime. Christ died for your sins, and has risen for your justification (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) Put your faith in what He did rather than what you have done, are doing, or are going to do. Salvation is not getting-your-sins-forgiven, it's believing they already are. (2 Corinthians 5:19)
