This is funny because I call my cat my son. My mom calls him her grandson lol. My grandma (who I live with) is tired of him because he's a brat so she refuses to say he's her great grandson, but I know she secretly loves him
I remember when my Uncle sent my dad a kitten from the farm, he was furious. I can still hear my Uncle laughing on the other end of the phone whilst dad was yelling at him. About two weeks later the kitten had taken to sleeping on dad's bed and you could hear dad asking if the kitten was comfy before saying goodnight to him. 😄
My dad "wasn't really a cat person" until he married my mom, who had a cat (though he was grumpy and didn't really like my dad). 24 years later, my dad is the favorite of our current cats, he'll share his favorite chair with them, give them treats in secret, and baby-talks them when he thinks we're not paying attention 😂

When we moved countries he was literally like "No, we're not getting any pets" - the moment we brought home two tabby-mese cats (a mother and her kitten) he was smitten for them, especially the kitten, Kato, who ended up becoming his fricking soulmate. This rescuing of these two cats later spawned into us rescuing 18 cats whilst abroad... Unfortunately, Kato was killed last year by wild dogs when we moved to Bahrain, and Mr initial "no pets...no! 😠" was heartbroken for *days.* I've literally never seen him so sad; he never cries yet throughout the week after Kato's passing he had about 3 emotional breakdowns. He didn't just lose a cat - he lost a best friend. Rest in Peace, Kato 💙
As a lynx point siamese mom, I can confirm that they're the snuggliest little blue-eyed gremlins. When they're not creating chaos, they're stealing your heart. 💙
Yes, a "Lynx Point Siamese". We got one that was an indoor- outdoor barn cat at some very nice horse stables. She was beautiful and fat. Yes, she was very pregnant! She had 8 beautiful kittens that looked just like her. We kept one of the girls & she was a little hellion, we named her "Tinkerbell" because she would fly through the house.

I adopted a puppy shortly after I started dating my ex and he was not happy about it, kinda jealous, but the puppy adored him… the puppy literally just smothered him in love until he loved him back and now even though we don’t date anymore, he still comes over to hang out with my dogs, especially that pup (who’s now middle aged for a dog)
He does have strange eyes, but I love his eyes. That's what makes him unique. I'm happy to hear she considers him a member of the family and I feel she does love him . 😺🐈🐈🐈
That’s so true. My BIL never had a single cat before, and wanted only a schnauzer. Then it changed to a dog and a black cat. Once they agreed to let my cat move into their house, they got their black cat. And my sister went on a spree of finding TWO OTHER CATS. Another black fiesty child and a sweet and clingy momma. Both girls. Momma cat, of course, was not fixed and neither was the first black kitty. Despite me warning her of the inevitable, she didn’t believe me and she got pregnant!😂😂 Gave birth to four healthy babies. Kept the one that was a mix of colors from both parents. No more schnauzer dreams. It’s a full on cathouse. No room for a dog right now.
I was literally telling my boyfriend's roommate that his cat has convinced me to call him "Mr. Charlie Cat" and sweet talk to him while I give him little head pats. Charlie is a good boy; he's a big brown and white tabby with a slightly vacant look in his green eyes. Like most cats he has some quirks; Charlie has to grab my feet if I'm wearing tights without shoes.
Oooh trust me, soon the mom will become an even crazier cat mom than the daughter and soon you'll find yourself with 3 new cats that you didn't adopt but your mom did :3
I had five feral cats. Started feeding them in my backyard ~5 weeks. At ~7 months they became indoor/outdoor cats because of the winter. Eventually becoming indoor only cats at around 14. While they did climb up on chairs, they never went on the kitchen table or counters. That was their only real limit during 17-19 years of city life.
I knew your heart would open up to him he is just too adorable he wanted you to accept him and he got to your heart I am so glad it shows that you two have a heart even though at first you didn't want him but now your whole world is completely different and even better you precious sweet angel I love you kitty

Lynx point siamese cats are some of the most beautiful and endearing of all the cats I've ever had. Bundy's eyes, are an extra beautiful feature! There is so much wonder, and amazement in those eyes. A truly unique cat.
Cats are a complete TRIP to watch. When they're little and practicing their stalking and pounce moves, they crouch down and then start wiggling their tail ends, it's the cutest thing ever. I ❤️ cats and dogs.
