One of those underated groups that endure forever. Long live to real music!

How much love, light, freedom, and shining talent is in these guys' music! In the '70s we lived this music, fell in love, got married to it. What a miracle.

These guys should have been superstars at this point Ian bairnsons guitar playing is class. Mad to think the same guys who done magic and January where doing extended psychedelic blues funk jams with such tasteful instrument playing. Would have been so cool to see the original lineup go down this path. It’s actually criminal a band with such good technique and talent was left to obscurity with just two well known hits

Agree but disagree that 'it's mad'. The instrumentation on the singles is seriously musical and brilliantly interwoven. The instrumental jams on this are great but they are less inspired.

I always respect bands that use Rickenbacker Bass guitars.
    shows they know quality instruments.

Excellent musicians and tight band great Vocal Melodie's and listen to these bass lines , right up there w McCartney . And many of these musicians I believe worked in the studio w Alan Parsons.

PILOT... 'em not great fan of such kind of music, but! At 1st - it's GOOD DONE MUSIC. At 2nd - It's GOOD MUSIC. At 3rd - It's NICE MELODIC MUSIC you always recognize by your ear. At 4th - track MAGIC - it's whole epoque and reminds me Radio Luxemburg, night shifts with portative radio-set near ear and this crazy jingle, partly refrained namely this song. It was real presentiment of something MAGIC!. Yeah, it was 1974 UK No11 in Charts, No 5 in US singles lists and so on as wide is World. People need such kind of music - it makes life warmer and more colourful. Listen GOOD MUSIC, folks! Hi to all1

I often wonder what would have happened if the bands management had been at all competent and got the guys touring the USA & Canada in 1975/6. The band would have become 'massive' .. As big as the Beatles .. I'll be content with knowing I discovered this phenomenal band right when they broke in 1973/4 and have never, after all these years have passed, failed to continue to be amazed by their immense talent and song writing abilities that the passing of time have failed to diminish, but have left an untouchable and unblemished legacy of musical genius.

These guys are really good players and live, they were almost too Good musically for their time. But I love this stuff. I love bands that can jam and improvise too. Not just be pop smiths, but are really Good players! Very impressive. And no gimmicks. No dive bombs or whammy gimmicks or drowned out in echo . I would’ve loved to have been there to watch all this musical interplay. And no wonder Alan Parsons had Dave Paton featured on some AP project songs! And unbelievably TIGHT.
Damn, this is where Badfinger was heading musically, if there was not a tragic suicide!!

Thanks for uploading (but please note spelling: "radio programme", "computer program"). This shows how the band should; have been accepted as a band of serious musicians, but it was impossible at that time to emerge with a number one single and also be taken seriously. But they did get played on Radio Caroline, which at that time played only album music rather than chart pop..
