    How obscene would it be if a mugger who attacks someone in the street, steals their wallet and puts them in the hospital, could use the scratch they received during the course of the attack as evidence that they were acting in “self defence”? Now imagine the horrific injustice of it if a judge and jury were to actually be convinced by this absurd argument and put the victim in prison for assault. This is essentially what Israel has done to Palestine with the “judge and jury” of the West acting to vilify and criminalize the Palestinian victims (as terrorists).
