- What started as simply a little "fun" project to fill a empty spot on a wall in my office became quite an endeavour (pun intended) when I bought that model kit from AMT. It's definitely the hardest model kit I have ever built and it's quite frankly a far cry from what other modelists have achieved with lights and aztec patterns. It was relatively cheap and costed way more in paint! Still, I'm happy with it... when I look at it from a distance.

Yeah, I had one of the original AMT enterprise models that I bought as a kid back at the end of the 60s and the engine nacells were not square rectangular they were round. I really wish I still had that original model. It was only 13 or 14 inches in length from the front of the saucer section to the back of the engines.
Nice build but isn't it a 1/537 scale? AMT, to my knowledge, doesn't make 1/350, only Polar Lights. The extra panel lines give it away. I'm working on a 1/537 AMT Enterprise myself. Hope it turns out as nicely as yours. Great work!
