Lets not forget that those cars are probably over 1300kg too. This car stock should weight around 1000kgs, stripped out like this its probably around 900. Thats 289HP/ton. Rougly equals to a: 2016 MB E63 AMG 4matic, Ferrari Scaglietti F1, 2014 911 Carrera 4 GTS, a fricking CATERHAM 7 SUPERLIGHT from 1996! Its an awesome little machine!
Love the smile on the guys face when rickys driving it, pure happiness. Cars not my cup of tea but loads of respect to have built it all himself, especially given his condition.

Now that's a proper built not bought hot hatch right there. Building my ZC72S the same way from the ground up, manged to completely rebuild it after rescuing it since it was submerged in a flood. It's a bit tough to carry parts around with an fked up L5 in my spine but the drive more than makes up for it. Quick hatch that rewards the driver to carry more speed into the corner. Love your build and I really understand the time and effort you have put into it. Wishing you a speedy recovery! Thanks for the video rick, it was a pleasure!
Miss my zc32s swift, only had 140 odd bhp with intake, catback, but handling was amazing and sounded mega with the full remus system. Love this guys one!
People who say this car is over the top need to realise that a standard Swift Sport itself is a very fast car. Under a ton. When you delete the interiors on an already light car and add 260bhp to a FWD, you need fat ass tires and a diffuser. Otherwise you end up in a ditch. People do not understand how these cars work. Yet are first to comment. Amazing build, hats off. I've driven Suzuki's all my life. I can only imagine how amazing that car is to drive. 🤤
Got my '94 gti at roughly 780 kg..about 850 with me in it..its not that fast but I've never driven anything so fun in the 30 yrs I have had my license..you have done well my man..a great build.

My thoughts go out to you and wish you a speedy recovery about your sciatica. My fiancee who 27 suffered something terrible from it, and is now recovering from a microdistectomy which releaved all pressure on the nerve. She is now slowly on the mend and feels no nerve pain shooting down her entire leg, only the discomfort from the minor surgery. Hope it heals itself for you, however this seems to have alot of successful results. Awesome car man absolutley love it!!!

I feel this geezas pain in regards to the prolapsed spinal discs. I had/got prolapsed L4/L5 spinal discs pressing on the sciatic nerve. Woman say child birth is bad, pfffft. Fair play to him being on camera.
Dinxsy I had industrial accident (fell from 35ft roof) and made a mess of self resulting in spinal fusion L3/L4, L5/L6 + Hip/ # Pelvis. I feel your pain but if any way you can keep hold of them (discs) and manage your pain I urge you NOT to have spinal fusion as mine failed so had revision surgery plus god knows how many ops/procedures. It’s been going on since Dec 94 and not a day goes by without ever being pain free. My drives in my car is my pain reliever and I wish you and your discs well in the future🙏🏻
The Suzuki Swift has always been a speed machine. Back in the day I can remember running against one in my Ibiza Cupra at Hams Hall. Neither cars were standard, but I thought the swift was at the time. I can still remember my face to this day when I did not drop it 😂. Bit obvious yours is not standard, but love the stripped out look
Reading some of the comments is the problem with the car scene, let people build what they love and enjoy, each person has their own personality and taste so just build what you want. Imagine if every car was the same, it wouldn't be fun seeing the same stuff over and over again, this is what makes car culture.
The M16A is a tough unit because it takes revs well. But you need to drop the 11.1:1 c/r if you're going forced induction. The Sport's chassis is sublime.
The M15A would be a better option then. I read it is lower compression en gets more improvements going forced inducion. Is the chassis different on the sport (M16A)?
I suffered with Syactica with the same disc. Just stretch everyday mate and apply heat to your lower back through swimming and jacuzzis. Should eventually heal. Good luck mate and nice car 👌
Apart from crashing through a Halfords window, swift’s can be tuned to mental levels the parts available from Japan are endless. I had a Swift GTI years ago and the engine took a hell of a beating. Redlined at 9k and done 70 in second gear from a 1.3l
Just for comparison: 5L V8 mustang has a power-to-weight ratio of about 8.5 to 1 in lbs/hp In terms of kg/kw it's 5.18 to 1 This Swift (assume weight at 1200kg) Lbs/hp = 10.19 to 1 Kg/kw = 6.18 to 1 Another comparison WRX STI lbs/hp = 11 to 1 Kg/kw = 6.71 to 1

TheWretchedWorld most of the tracks i race on , it would make a difference, certainly when you get over 60 ,and definitely over a ton. Oulton park, aintree, castle combe are all twisty ,Anglesey maybe not as much.
Even stock form the car weighs less than a tonne. Seeing this lad strip his car and adding significant amount of power. Gotta say, its tiny rocket. I love mods but I'm keeping my ZC31S stock. I enjoy the way it is and I need my daily transport to be reliable.

To all those whos dissing about the "low" hp figure The Swift probably has below 100 hp, or near 100hp and weighs less than a 1000 kilos so 260HP on a Swift is pretty quick if you think about the power to weight ratio

1.6 with turbo stock ecu pretty great gain.Great work.In India we have swift equipped wit 1.2 NA engine and 5spd gearbox.
