Heyy! A local Jain family actually invited me over for a home cooked meal. I'm not sure if there are restaurants which serve Dudh saar but I'm sure if you request a local, they will be more than happy to help!

I'm not very sure about dishes without onion/garlic, but you can definitely have Dudh Saar as it is a Jain delicacy so won't have either!

Heyy, I actually went to a local's house and they made it for me in their kitchen! That would be the most authentic way! Kolhapur locals are very warm and friendly I'm sure you will find someone who will lovingly host you!

Yes tambda and pandhra rassa are both mutton preparations. The mutton is what gives it it's flavour so difficult to find any veg alternative!

The food looks good, but most of the restaurants looks really rundown and dilapidated, you are quite brave to eat at these places!
