Congratulations beautiful lady!! I’m so happy for you and Manny! God is so good!! ❤❤😊… also if this helps… I read that dates helps a lot as well 😊with the lining.. I ate them When TTC …and it definitely helped me.. 😉… once again congratulations 🎉… time to rejoice ❤
YAY!!!! I’m so happy for you! Sending positive and sticky embryo vibes your way🫶🏼🫶🏼 I pray this transfer works for you❤️ if you need a friend to talk to, reach out any time!! PIO after a while - SUCKS. I do have some unsolicited advice for them though! (If you have any questions about anything, PLEASE let me know! I have been on post transfer meds for several weeks now..) Estrogen gives me terrible headaches too- it has been worse since I’ve been pregnant. (Hopefully that’s not the case for you!!) Talk to your clinic and/or OBGYN if you get there, about starting magnesium! It might help you (it helps most people, but I haven’t personally tried it) - Make sure you drink TONS of water! Like at least 80oz.. the more electrolytes you can add to that, the better! PIO Advice/Tips: •Use a heating pad on your bum before the shot for 15-30 minutes. No Ice! (If the pain of the needle scares you, get some numbing cream, I promise that will be a LOT better for you!!) •When doing the shot, they say to draw an imaginary line in the middle of your butt cheek and then another one from the top of your crack to your hip- the outer corner “box” created in the t-chart shape will be the area you inject in, every time. The higher up you can go without hitting your hip bone, the less painful- BUT STAY AWAY from the center line going down the middle of your butt cheek. Thats right next to your sciatic nerve, and I promise you do not want to hit it. It is the most painful thing EVER (take it from me, I’ve done it one time, and it was HORRENDOUS- I couldn’t walk for a week). •DO NOT RUB THE MEDICATION INTO THE MUSCLE RIGHT AWAY! I made this mistake for the first couple of weeks, and I wish I wouldn’t have… I’ve learned that working the muscle and rubbing it in, actually makes the knotting and the pain worse. When I stopped doing that, they got less painful. •heat your bum again for another 30 minutes to an hour after the injection. •after a while, the medication will be hard to push in- your muscle will naturally feel tougher after weeks of PIO, it’s normal- just keep going. The tougher it gets, the less painful it is, oddly enough😆 side note: the bruising does tend to get worse after a while of doing them.. just make sure you alternate sides and try to go a little bit off of the last injection (just by a few mm or so is plenty) •After a few weeks - the injections can start to feel very itchy or stingy after injecting. It’s normal- HOWEVER- a lot of women develop allergies to their PIO! Some women continue with it cause the reaction isn’t terrible, but if you start to get hives or if it gets really red around the injection site, talk to your doctor- they can send in another prescription of PIO with a different base. •standing up when doing the injections is best, place your weight on the opposite leg and let your injection side leg dangle to the best of your ability- I lean over the counter a little bit when my wife injects.. •if you bleed, apply gentle pressure for a minute before placing a bandaid- (I use the little circle bandaids! It also helps to keep track of which side you injected last, because after a while it gets hard to remember haha - I take the other sides bandaid off, right after injecting, that way I don’t have a bunch of bandaids and get confused. •If a little bit of the PIO seeps out, it’s okay! As long as majority of the dose went in, you’ll be good! Sometimes your muscle is just tight and it doesn’t allow all of the medicine to go in, so a drop or two comes out. Wishing you the best of luck🥰🥰 you’re so strong and you totally got this!!!🥰
@@TaylorW1818 thank you so much!! 😊❤️❤️❤️ And thank you for all the great advice!! Theres definitely a learning curve to the process of PIO! I really appreciate all the advice! 🥰
