I’m so excited you made this video. I kept seeing ads on my kindle and thought “someone should read these and do a TH-cam video on them.” Very entertaining. I never read romance, but I always get romance ads so I’m curious how they determine what they advertise lol

The ads are definitely NOT smart, lol. I get 90% German romance/historical ads and I have read maybe 3 romances in my entire life and I read almost exclusively in English. But since I'm based in Germany, Kindle Ads keep showing me German books ...
Side note, if you call Amazon they can take off the ads~ sometimes for free if you’re a prime member, if they don’t waive the fee I think it’s $20 to remove them.
I kinda like getting them and seeing what they're pushing is that just me? Haha. Sometimes the covers are embarrassing but oh well

Have you read the Dark Side series by Kristy Cunning? The first book in the series is called Four Psychos. It’s on kindle unlimited, and it’s a great take on fantasy/paranormal reverse harem romance. I binge read all 4 books in 2 days. Couldn’t put them down!

Have you ever thought of doing a video on books with older main characters (like 40+)? I love romance books but it's hard finding ones with older people.
i try to pick up romances with older heroines whenever one catches my eye but i'm not sure i'd dedicate a video to it, we shall see. i think Olivia Dade does a kick ass job with this tho if you're looking for an author

Have you read any Janet Evanovich books? There’s a lot to pick, a handful of series with only 6 short books or up to 27 books in a series. She writes adult fiction romance mystery books with a lot humor, I recommended checking them out!
Honestly, naming two doggies "Nut" and "Juice" is lowkey hilarious and I may consider naming my future two cats like that

i don't have in depth thoughts lol. i just don't think there's a big enough difference in features to justify the price tag of an oasis. so i don't recommend hah
Big agree, The Heir was WAY too long and unfocused. That said, the first two or three books in the Brutal Birthright series are much more fast paced and engaging.

I read Brutal Prince by Sophie Lark. The book was ok but I hated that the male POV sounded like a woman. I almost DNFed the book because of it. I am glad I am not alone thinking that.
ok i'm glad i'm not overthinking it! i felt weird thinking that cause i don't think that all men are the same or anything but there was just no voice distinction between heroine and hero in that book lol
