This was arguably a cursed year for the Chiefs. Lost Hill, a lot of new faces on all sides, one of the hardest schedules, the entire AFC West getting stacked, and Mahomes getting injured. The Chiefs laughed in the face of doubt and brought home the Lombardi once again. Patrick Mahomes is the Grim Reaper, the Baby Goat, Football Houdini, and now, The Curse Breaker.

I have been a diehard Chiefs fan all my life. Since the early 60's when I was just a little boy. I vaguely remember them winning Super Bowl IV. I struggled through the 1970's and 80's when they were one of the worst teams in the league. Then came Marty ball and they were one of the best of the 90's but still unable to win it all. Same thing with Dick Vermeil. Frustrating as hell. Now, I'm in my 60's and finally and luckily I have lived long enough to see them at the top. Possibly one of the best of all time. It actually brings tears to my eyes to see this. I am so proud of the team I have loved and followed my entire life.

I have never seen so much doubt towards the Chiefs. Everyone doubted us and thought that we would suck. The Chargers were highly regarded as a team that would win it all in the AFC West or that Russ Wilson would lead the Broncos to the playoffs. Those were all foolish jokes and assumptions. People slept on us a whole lot. The Bills were Super Bowl favorites, but they didn’t meet the expectations of course. In the middle of the season going into the playoffs, there was so much trash talking by the Cincinnati fan base, but eventually those fans choked on their words. They looked like fools at the end and kept using the 1-3 record excuse to cope with the loss. Once again, The Chiefs were thrown aside and the Eagles were voted as favorites to win the Super Bowl. This season was a fun revenge season and we for sure were a team of destiny.
Too bad for them, how underestimated the Chiefs were? It's pathetic how these sports experts have failed to see one of the greatest football players ever in the NFL. Is it that they were so biased?? they were so flippant in judging the skills that were progressively getting better the whole time.? It brought them to the Super Bowl 🏈 championship game. They really missed this talented young man and his leadership qualities. His teammates were just as good, and gritty.The Chiefs were so disrespected, and the doubters were just having a great time trash talking the Chiefs and their underdog QB Mahomes. At the end of it all, the Super Bowl Lombardi trophy was theirs. The Chiefs had it in their possession because they deserved it. They had laid down the work to get to this kind of endings. Whatever were the haters thinking when they were spewing their negativity.? Who knows? Never doubt 💯 the Chiefs underdog QB again. He's always been the top dog. They just weren't looking in the right direction. "Too bad for them." They misjudged the greatness in their midst.

When he reinjured his ankle, I thought it "Man, this is gonna be tough to overcome". He got hurt in that Super Bowl against Brady and they got totally outplayed. I was worried the same would happen after the injury. I am so happy to have been proven wrong.
I wouldn’t say he got outplayed . He had no o-line against a ton of defensive Pro bowlers & no one on the team could catch a pass to save their lives.
